House Points in June
I just noticed that there are lots of house Points earned by each house in June. Why's this so?

House Points in June
The homework system changed during that time period, where you have to complete the homework to earn spells or potions. That also happened as it was the last chance to earn house points from that last trove of homework, before this current school year. Now, if you try to complete homework from earlier years, you only receive the spell or potion, not the house points.

House Points in June
(It's also a monthly house cup rather than a yearly house cup- but yeah, around june is the time when we move up a year and new homework is unlocked so.. the new student's year is unlocked in the report card)

And actually, during May and June, as we were undergoing a major transition project that formerly let people claim all spells that student's school year upon graduation (ie: year 4 during idk 2024-2025 school year = year 4 spells), now you are mandated to choose to pay for the spells OR you can do the homework for free spells.

During June, we had people grinding homework as much as they could, some just to get the highest amount of points they possibly could as this was also the time that we stopped giving people house points manually for completing homework that was outside of their school year (ie: doing year 3 homework when they were year 5)

(By having the highest amount of points gained during a month they also hold the record indefinitely)

So, it was a combination of actually doing the homework so they could have the spells and of grinding the homework just for the points.

Correct me if I'm wrong @Kaitlyn Connor @George Calder

But yeah again, like I said, June we really spiked for the above reasons- it has to do with the transition project transitioning from spells in your trunk to spells in your inventory as items PLUS being given house points (manually) for doing the past years homeworks, when you get points automatically for completing your own school year.
