I skipped a little as got closer to the hogwarts express. Mum and dad were right behind me, and I was pushing my trunk on a trolley. I had gotten lots of books for Christmas, so I was bringing back more than what I came with.
I had my ferret Bandit in her little traveling backpack. Usually bandit enjoyed either being in the backpack or just having me carry her, sometimes she even likes to be walked on a leash! But I thought it safest and most comfortable for her to be in the backpack today.
“Grace!” Mum called to me. “Your wand i in my pocket! Here take it back” I turned around and took my wand from mum.
“That was a close one!” Said Dad.
“Do you have everything else?” Mum asked.
“I think so, but I want to find Cordelia so I can sit on the train with her.”
“Honey I dont think we have time.” Dad said, looking at his watch. I didn’t care. I started calling out my friend’s name. “Cordelia! Cordelia! Where are you Cordelia?!” No luck.
“Maybe you’ll find her once you get on the train, but It’s 10:55 and you should be getting on that train! I love you.” Mum was always comforting with her words. i gave both my parents big hugs, trying make sure that Bandit wasn’t getting smushed.
“I love you! I’ll wave to you from the train okay?” I started heading for the hogwarts express noticing a girl who must’ve been really cool, because she add really cool red tips in her hair.
Wouldn’t it be cool to sit with someone like her? I thought to myself.
