Dear Jrue,
I'm writing to you from Norway, my family and I decided to go somewhere isolated for our Christmas vacation.
It's always been just the three of us, so packing up and leaving wasn't an issue- it's incredibly cold here and we love it, and there is no one to bother us with anything.
The nights are incredibly dark and cold, so we've gone out daily to the few activities the locals have set up- my father even made his very first friend since Hogwarts
there are very few creatures here, but I saw a beautiful dog owned my one of the locals, her name is apparently "snowy" and she was very friendly when we got there.
My mother told me she used to come here often for vacations as a child with her own mother and father, and that she always dreamt of coming back again one day with her own children- so I suppose her dream did come true after all.
If you must know- my mother and father aren't close with their family at all, they haven't spoken in years ever since my parents had me, it's a weird thing our family has... you're usually only close to your parents and siblings, and slowly stop talking when you get older.
I suppose it's because we've always been loners, and family functions are not something any of us would enjoy.
Although here in norway- I met a few people my age, they taught me how make a moving snowman, I could teach you when I get back if you're up for it-
Still, it's it's entirely up to you- but anyway, I bought some candy recently, I'll bring you some once we're back from Norway.
I hope to hear from you soon, kind regards:
