When I got home, I walked into my bedroom and fell onto my bed, I love my bed.
I put my hogwarts trunk at the foot of my bed and picked up my cat tiger and cuddled her. I carried her over to my bed and we sat down. I pet tiger until she started purring, and my collie River came in. She hopped up on the bed and tiger hopped off.
Then my mom came in.
“Did you get unpacked ok?”
“Yeah I think so. I just have get some of my books unpacked.”
“Dinner wil be ready soon, I’m making shepherd’s pie, I know you love it when I make shepherds pie!”
I finished unpacking and went out to eat dinner. My dad had decorated really nicely. He loves to decorate. And mom was filling the kitchen with amazing smells. He had harvest and the potatoes from the garden a few months ago, along with the corn, and the carrots she served on the side. The shepherds pie was amazing. And i went to bed looking forward to playing in the snow and going shopping tomorrow.
When I woke up the next morning, my German shepherd ace, was lying next to me. I gave ace a belly rub before noticed my cat midnight sitting on her cat tree in my room. I pet midnight too, but then I got dressed and ready. I was able to find the perfect outfit for today.
I had my jeans, sweater and sneakers on and mom braided my hair. Today me and dad were going to play quidditch and race brooms. For my 11th birthday my dad got me a nimbus 2022, one of the newest fastest models. I also planned to see a few friends today, before hogwarts I had 2 best friends that lived close by, and I planned to ride my bike to their house. Other than that I didnt have any plans, but that seemed kind of nice, I could play with my pets, feed the chickens, play with the cats and just overall enjoy being home for Christmas.
I me downstairs that morning to discover that mum was making breakfast. Omelets, by the smell of it.
“This smells so nice!” I told mum.
“Bacon, tomato,spinach and pepper omlets, just the way you like em!” Mom said.
“What? no cheese!?” Dad exclaimed.
“Oh! I almost forgot, yes, cheddar cheese too!” Mom realized.
“My favorite!” I said “thanks mum!”
Can I take ace and river outside while mom makes breakfast? I was going to collect the eggs, but I assume that mum already has!” I asked dad.
“Sure sweetie, just wear your wellies, there’s a little bit of snow.”
“Ok” I said switching my shoes from my green sneakers to my boots.
“Hey, Gracie?, would you like to go sledding later or something? There might be just enough T snow!”
“Sounds great dad”
I grabbed a few treats and both dog leashes just in case I needed them. My dogs were pretty good to play off-leash so I also grabbed a ball.
I opened the door and both my dogs came bounding out.I grabbed my coat, scarf and hat and followed them out.
