Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes was founded in 1996 by Fred and George Weasley, former Gryffindor students known for their ingenuity and rebellious brilliance. The shop rose quickly in popularity among students and adults alike, and during the Second Wizarding War the shop expanded as many joke items doubled as covert defensive tools. After the Second Wizarding War and the death of Fred Weasley, co-founder George Weasley continued running the shop, transforming it into both a memorial and a thriving business.

While it is easy to dismiss Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes as a toy shop. Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes specializes in joke items, pranks, and novelty magic, ranging from harmless fun to surprisingly advanced magical engineering. The shop has even been known to attract Ministry scrutiny, but remains fiercely popular in the magical community. Despite appearances, many items are: precisely engineered, ministry-tested (often begrudgingly) and known to be surprisingly effective in real-world scenarios.

As for entering the shop, is like stepping into controlled pandemonium. The air buzzes with laughter, popping noises, and the faint scent of gunpowder and farts. Shelves stretch upward at odd angles, packed tightly with products that blink, wriggle, explode, or mutter to themselves. The floor is perpetually busy with enchanted demonstrations, hovering signs, and customers seeking the 'perfect prank.'

As for the employees, George is no longer seen on the floor, he is too busy with research and development for next season's bag of tricks! However he has no shortage of employees, each often wearing mischievous grins as they move with practiced ease through the chaos, answering questions while subtly ensuring no one sets off anything too dangerous inside.
