Kind of a dumb question, but how do I write a post or RP without replying to another? I am trying to fill out the pet application form and can’t figure out how to write the story part without replying to someone else or creating a new topic, neither of which I am trying to do.

Welcome to Hio! As far as I'm aware, you need to create a new topic for pet applications. If you go to Magical Menagerie, you'll see a lot of topics with the tag 'pet'. I believe those are for pet applications, and also what you need, but I don't think what you are trying to do is possible. If you've seen this happen, you can provide the link and I can explain how it works.

Hi Aliyah!! Welcome to hio I would absolutely recommend joining our mentorship program. And not a dumb question at all, I was confused by this at the beginning too.

I believe what you are referring to is to create a new rp post? In order to do that you would, as Julia said, go into the forum for the Magical Menagerie which can be accessed here. Then towards the top of your page there should be a selection of icons (tick, bell, pencil, ect) and tap on the symbol of the pencil. Then you should be able to write your rp.

Hello and welcome to H.io! While Julia and Amelia are correct, I would like to emphasise that it’s no longer necessary to write your pet post specifically in the Menagerie.

However; you do need to create a new topic for the post.
