Marauders Map - F.A.Q.

Hey! So, does someone actually know how the Marauders' Map works? Does it actually show where I am? For example, if I am in the owlery, then does someone looking at the map see "Julia Evans" in the owlery?

The Maurader's map shows anyone who is in any forum in Hogwarts and will give them a funny little message or activity that they might not be doing.

So yes, if you are in the owlery we will see that you're in an owlery with a funny little message.
