please stop punching people south africa solo backdated

backdated to november 14, 2018 (paris is 6 years old)
location is paris' primary school in south africa
npcs are paris' mum (bea), and her school headmistress (surname is ngcobo)
Paris slumped down in her chair. This was boring. Her mother gave her a stern look at Paris' horrible posture before turning back to Principal Ngcobo. "Ma'am your request to meet was very vague. What is all this about?"

Ngcobo paused for a second. "Mrs Soliel, we have had several incidents of your daughter Paris hitting or punching students on the playground."

Beatrice raised an eyebrow. Years of working as a lawyer before moving from Scotland had made her very in control of her facial expressions. "Hitting and punching? How many times has it happened before?"

Paris began to tune the adults out. Maybe she had hit that boy a month ago. But he had deserved it! It didn't matter that he was in grade 3 and she was only in grade R! Kicking the hands of anyone who tried to come up the ladder to the slide was not okay!

Paris' head jerked to her mother when her name was mentioned. "So you're telling me that Paris has been punching other kids on the playground for the last month and this hasn't been mentioned to me or my husband before?"

Principal Ngcobo held her hands up placatingly. "We did not know at the time if it would be a repeat incident."

Bea took a deep breath. "Do you know why she has been punching people?" Paris' eyes narrowed at Principal Ngcobo. If she said it was just an aggressive nature...

Principal Ngcobo looked slightly uncomfortable. She shifted in her seat. This wasn't an easy thing to discuss with parents. "Paris... often interrupts her teachers when she doesn't agree with what they are saying." Cause they're wrong. Paris thinks rolls her eyes. "I suspect that her punching people has gone on longer than we are aware of." You know it, lady. "iI understand that Paris has ADHD, but it is not an excuse. She seems to display typical signs of having an overly aggressive nature that is out of line--"

"Stop. Just shut up and listen, okay?" Paris stood on her chair. She knew she was being disrespectful, but she just couldn't sit with the her principal not even mentioning the other side of it all! "I kicked Jayden down the slide because he kept kicking kids hands off the ladder when he was hogging the slide. Being in grade 3 doesn't mean you're any better than the kids in grade R or 1 or 2. Ziyanda was just asking to be pushed in the mud when she kept stealing Lethabo's pencils. It doesn't matter that he's a little bit strange! I think it's cool that he likes purple pandas. I really am sorry I knocked Blessing's tooth out but it was a baby tooth anyway, and he kept going out of his way to make sure Tshegofatso never got to sit with anyone at lunch. She may be new, but she has feelings too and Blessing deserved not getting the tandemius to come get his tooth!" Paris took a deep breath and was about to continue (and probably would have for another five minutes) when her mother put a hand on Paris' arm and interjected.

"I think what Paris means is that she does not see the harm in protecting people. While I agree that she should probably stop, I do not think Paris could think of another way to make sure everything was fair." Paris looked down at her mum, who gently tugged her arm to get her to sit down. Paris flopped in her chair and scowled at Principal Ngcobo. "I will definitely be speaking with Paris later about this unacceptable behaviour and what she can do instead in the future, but I also see her reasoning. Please address the problem of what seems to be much bullying among the children.

Principal Ngcobo opened her mouth but no sound came out. She nodded once, tersely. "Thank you both for coming in today. I appreciate your time."

Paris immediately hopped down from her seat, eager to leave. Beatrice murmured a 'thanks for taking the time to see us' before following Paris' running feet out the door.
