Penny lived on the outskirts of Salisbury, her family occupying her father, Henry's humble orchard. There, they grew grapes and apricots, therefore raising Penny to love charcuterie and jam before bedtime. Before Hogwarts, Penny attended a professional ballet school, convinced she was the nation's next Margot Fonteyn. Unfortunately, her incredible talent was balanced with a lack of motivation for her schooling. She fell behind her classmates, and fast. She risked her future position in Hogwarts, sending her mother, Clara, into a downwards spiral. She ripped penny out of dance, forcing her to focus on her studies. Penny caught up with her work in no time, but lost what she had loved most in the process. Penny unwillingly learned to love English, trading leotards for her father's old quills. She began writing, in secret of course. Her cat, Misty, stayed beside her whenever a new story flooded from ink to page in her fingers. At school, Penny was adored by many, but felt as though she only had one honest friend, Maise. Together, they traded stories of homework and boys on the way home from school everyday, occasionally sneaking into her father's grape vine fields to pluck some for themselves. After losing ballet, Penny understood she should learn to memorize those moments she shared, happy with no consequences. This is what makes her long to finish her schoolwork before the sunsets, allowing her time to meet new friends, or find unexplored areas of Hogwarts to gossip in.
˙⋆✮ Appearence/Personality ✮⋆˙

Penny is a little above average height for a girl, giving her thin limbs. Her posture is slightly relaxed, and the dirty blonde hair that frames her freckle-dusted cheeks reaches her waist. Her eyes are doe-shaped and innocent, the irises a green-ish hazel. She has long eyelashes she's constantly curling, and rosy lips she's constantly glossing. She has a couple of small moles across her collarbone and fingers she's incredibly insecure of, for no good reason. She has a look of slight constant worry on her brows, due to them being gently furrowed at all times.
Penny is compassionately empathetic, making socializing come naturally to her. She's driven and kind, trying her best to prove to her parents she does belong at Hogwarts. Though she tries her best not to be, she is helplessly nosy, causing her more problems she would like. A couple likes of hers: getting to know strangers, rosy cheeks during the cold, sloppy smiles, animals (magical or not), reading emotions through eyes, and scarfs. A couple of her dislikes: the wet after rain, overly confidant people, when her bangs don't sit right, procrastination, and yawning.

When Penny was little, a boy had asked her to play after school. She was so painfully nervous. She was practically trembling as her fingers reached for the doorbell. Upon seeing him, her increasing anxiety welled into something so absurdly strong, she had accidentally sized the boys ears up to look like that of an elephants. She ran all the way home, crying and begging in her fathers lap to send her away for being so wicked. Her father fixed the situation without so much as a blink, but Penny would remember the look on poor Thomas' face for the rest of her life.
