It didn’t take long until he got his Acceptance Letter. A bit of a drab moment, honestly. His older brothers had gone, and Clark really did not want to follow in their footsteps. Simon was in Slytherin, Ben in Hufflepuff.

It was interesting to be a goblin, yet still have a bit of a distaste, but still have a looming sense of interest that was pulling you towards the school, to reveal how immersive it would be, how valuable. But Clark?

He did not want it to be known that he was interested. He heard about the sorting hat from all of his family and knew that he needed to somehow rig it so he can be a total jackass, but how? Think innocent thoughts? Pretend to be totally noble and loyal and kind?

All he wanted was to be a known name, a name that people would comment on if they ever heard it.

And the acceptance letter was only verification that he was to set foot in that death trap they called Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

How was he to deny it?

Clark took a deep breath as he stared at the signature, rolled his eyes and tossed it off to the side.

These letters were not that important. They were garbage.

But were they really? Deep down inside, Clark couldn’t help but feel like he would finally find a place to belong. Maybe make some friends. But alas, if he didn’t go, he couldn’t make this a reality and he’d be stuck irritating his poor fathers for the rest of his life.

“Damn it!” Clark exclaimed irritably. “Dads, I want to go to Hogwarts, I got the letter earlier. I was..” He grumbled a little under his breath. “I don’t want you two going even more poor trying to get me an education. I’ve been running you ragged for 11 years, so I want to go.” And the two men looked at each other and smiled.

Their baby boy at the time was now going to the school for the prestigious. Clark was going to need to go get his supplies.
