Merry Christmas! I am very glad to hear you are having fun in the Canary Islands. From what you shared, the beaches sound amazing. I hope you got a seashell to bring back. I haven't tried Spanish jelly beans so I would be interested to try some myself. I hope they don’t have bits of gravel like the ones on the train!
Snow in Wales is not as much as you expect. It snows sometimes, but it’s mostly wet and rainy, it's annoying. Maybe your father remembers it being too rainy and cold, I can’t blame him. The red dragon's pose on the flag looked fierce and intimidating especially if you’re someone who doesn’t know the legend behind it.
For Christmas, my family and I mostly stayed home on the farm. We decorated the little tree we have in the sitting room, and my sister and I helped Mum and Dad make some treats, my favorite were cookies and some pudding. We also fed the animals extra hay and made sure the cows and chickens had a little treat. I think the animals liked the extra attention more than the pudding.
I sent you a few things with this letter I thought you might like. I hoped you will like them and enjoy them. They will remind you of what we talked about before.
I laughed at what you said about imagining me staring at the walls. Maaaaybe I would have done that if I didn't have a lot of chores to deal with. I promise I didn’t do it in my most annoying voice, juuuust a little!
I’m really glad we’re friends too, Jrue. I can’t wait to see you after the break and hear about your holiday adventures in person.

Thank you so much for your letter. It was nice knowing all the things you imagine us doing together during the holidays. Speaking of holiday, I hope yours is full of happy and memorable moments too. Over the break, my family and I did a few special things on the farm. We went out early one morning to feed the animals and saw the frost sparkling on the grass. They looked like a field full of tiny stars.
Later, we decorated the little Christmas tree in the sitting room, and my sister and I made a few handmade ornaments from twigs and bits of string. My parents let us help cook a big dinner and I had fun. After dinner, we usually sit around together and tell stories and play boardgames. My dad’s terrible at it but that's what made it all fun.
I included a few things with this letter, I hope you like them enough to put a smile on your lips. Exploring Honeydukes with you would have been interesting. Peppermint humbugs is curious thing to try, and maybe we’ll find some crazy candy we’ve never tried before. It would be fun just being there together and sharing little things like that.
Thank you for your friendship too, Angel. I can’t wait to see you again and hear about everything you did over the break.

Hi! I hope you had a great school break and holidays together with your family. So far, I've having a blast celebrating the season. We went to town to visit the market and got some fresh bread and cheese. There was a little fair in the town square with lights and music, and I tried different food together with my sister. Everything's tasty and delicious!
Remember Marshmallow and Scout? I spent a lot of time brushing Mallow and feeding her treats. She loves carrots, and she kept trying to mess with my sleeves while I fed her! One morning, I helped her jump over a small log in the field. She's not very graceful, so it was very funny.
Scout loved helping me with Marshmallow. He kept running around to make sure she didn’t wander too far including the other sheep and cows. He likes playing fetch together too. He got muddy once, and Marshmallow tried to follow him, it was a big mess!
It's always fun spending time at home with my family together with the animals and little trips into town. I wish you could have seen Scout chasing Marshmallow, he was so serious, and she was just hopping around like a little fluffball.

I’m back home helping my family on the farm. It feels strange not attending classes every day. We’ve been drying herbs for winter, and it reminded me of Herbology and working with you in the greenhouse. You were really good with the Fire Seed Bush.
We dried chamomile again this year, and it smells nice too. It reminds me somewhat of the greenhouse and our Herbology tasks. Maybe I'll bring some to school and give you a few bags that you can drink at night.
I hope you still get to spend time in the greenhouses during the holidays. Hogwarts has better plants than home, if I'm honest. I’m looking forward to returning to school and engaging in other Herbology activities again. Maybe we can work together next time, I'm sure it would be another interesting experience with you.
I saw something that reminded me of our discussion about Mandrakes. I included it here in the letter. There's also a separate small box I sent together with the envelope. I hope you like it and that you'll take care of it!

Hi! It’s really good to hear from you. I hope you’re doing okay and enjoying your time there, I know how strange it can be when most people are gone.
I’m at home with my family for the holidays. It’s nice being back on the farm, I missed my family and our animals. My mum keeps feeding me like there’s no tomorrow, and my dad keeps asking about Quidditch and broom racing, he told me it’s been a while since he played that sport. My little sister won’t stop talking about everything I brought home from Hogwarts.
I’m glad to hear you’ve been improving, let’s play again once I am back, okay?? Practicing together helped me a lot too, and I’d really like us to keep training in the future. It was fun doing the drills with you. Flying has become one of my favorite things, and it’s better when I’m doing it with someone else.
