Full Name: Alice Evans
History/Background Story: Alice was born in England, but for some reason, lived not with her parents but with her aunt, uncle and cousins. She didn't know why her parents weren't there until she found out they lived in America, working there with the magical community there and didn't want her around, thinking of her as a bother to them and their work. She loved being on her family's farm, but wasn't the ideal farmworker as she didn't know a thing about farming and wasn't interested in it either. Her guardians made her work though, but she didn't like it. She was happier at school, where she was an excellent student. She felt like a misfit though, no one, at school or at home understood the whirl of emotions always inside her head, or the slight strangeness she brought with her in her. She tried to cope with it though, trying to push emotions to the back of her mind and focus on her work, but it was difficult. She was always being called upon to do this and do that and had no time to just sit and read. But above all, she missed having loving parents. Her aunt and uncle were loving to her, though rather demanding, but it just wasn't the same. She was really thrilled when she was told she had been accepted into hogwarts, it opened up a whole new world of possibilities (if it wasn't a dream) and hoped someone at Hogwarts would understand her better.
First instance of magic: Alice's first instance of magic happened when she was four. She was playing with a pencil and she chucked it up in the angle that the sharp point would fall on her head, but some force just pushed her a foot away from that point, seemed like a very strong wind, but it was surely not because it was a very calm and still day.
