I will keep this for anytime my character is just sending back letters to her parents or brother
Karime was heading to the Owlery as it has been awhile since she sent a letter back to her parents but more specifically her brother as she had told him in a letter it is better to only send to me during the day but on the weekend is better for our parents as they have been busier at work and so he has better time to read the letters I send. Karime knew this one was longer as she had talked about learning the Incendio spell, helping a first year with lessons on the magic world and wands, and about how classes have been going. Like she did the first time in the year she entered and found the same owl she has been using provided by the school to send the letter. She of course could use any of the other owls there and some look very alike to another. But Karime being good with animals can find the littles of detail to tell them apart.
November 25 In the Morning
Dear Jaxon,
How have you been doing? I've been doing really well and can't wait to see you for thanksgiving. I miss you a lot and can't wait to talk about everything that has happened in school but you know me and I can't wait so here's a heads up I guess. I learned the incendio spell from a higher up class. There was a sign posted up in the small hall and it was for first and second year. There were four spells we could choose to learn but I chose to do the fire spell just because I know it is an important one to learn. I was nervous of course but I was able to succeed…. The only thing is I did kind of form a big flame as my intensity was more than I wanted and I almost gave up but luckily I was able to control it and stop it from going out of control or hurting anyone. I guess the only other big thing is that I became a teacher for a bit hehe. There was this hufflepuff who is in the same year as me but shes a muggle so I saw her struggling in charm class and couldn't anything and so I offered to teach her about the wizarding world and how to feel more confident. It warmed my heart a bit and you have to promise me not to tell anyone other than out parents as you know how our family can be with muggles.
Now don't get mad but I almost had a breakdown a month ago because of potions class….. You know how I was never good at science and you would help when you could but potions… Potions are like in another world. I was literally in the library all night and probably would have if it wasn't for a second year Slytherin approaching me and helping. He was able to teach me how to remember them and not stress over the class. He was very kind and complimented me a lot. Kind of remind me of you a lot, but don't worry I'm not replacing you hehe. I could never replace you Jax. Any way how your doing well in your job and tell mom and dad I miss them a lot. I know I will when I travel for thanksgiving but just give them a warning for me will you
