Merry Christmas! part one

Dear Mum,

As the snowflakes fall on the roof of Hogwarts and on our home, I really wish I could come to Ilvermorny with you for a visit. Though I can't exactly read her mind, I'm sure Lily feels the same, and though loves being with our neighbours, misses you. As this Christmas approaches, I feel reminded of all the Christmas dinners and present openings we had together as a family, occasionally inviting the Williams kids over, them being our friends. The time we had a christmas tree decorated with muggle decorations for once, and the time in our feast, Lily accidentally made the pudding levitate, and the time we did our christmas shopping in Hogsmeade. I hope next year, we will all meet together again for Christmas, creating some new memories. But for now, I wish you all the best, and enclose an early christmas present which I made myself (don't worry, I will send your proper present on christmas day). I will be thinking of you as I eat my christmas feast and play secret santa here, and hope you think of me too, from Ilvermorny. May god bless you with wonderful good fortune past what you have, and Merry Christmas!

~Your loving daughter
