Dear Zephyr,
I hope you have a really great holiday that will be full of restful moments, a lot of laughter, and some magic too. As I am getting used to the season and the more and more cold days, I catch myself thinking about the small traditions that make the season special—the ones especially that I can share with you. It is undoubtedly the case that the seasonal traditions that we share together give me immense pleasure. We could not be more different, and yet, it is the very fact of our differences that draws us together, and we end up complementing each other perfectly. I'm really looking forward to the time when we get to celebrate together. The three broomsticks is definitely the perfect place for that. I love the fire that always seems to be crackling in the hearth, and I find it very relaxing to watch the steam that comes up from the hot mug of hot chocolate I am holding that goes up in the air in sort of a wavy line. The incessant winter chill will be forgotten once we gain some warmth from a cup of hot chocolate in the tavern, and it is a scene very much like this one that I have in my mind. Maybe it’s fair to say that no trip to the holiday market would be complete without a stop at Honeydukes. I am positive that we will not only find one winning sweet treat, but rather two or three. I bet that it would be really interesting to walk from one aisle to another and to pick one candy after another by pointing at them. Will I find you indulging in peppermint humbugs? or blowing up bonbons? Or else we may be fortunate enough to unearth some unfamiliar seasonal confection that we have not previously tasted. Notwithstanding our decision, I am certain that it will be even better just because we are doing it together. Above all, I treasure your friendship the most. It is an additional reason for the holiday to be more fun, warmer, and more inviting, knowing that you will be part of it.Thank you one more time for being a person to whom I can constantly look forward, the one who invites happiness into even the simplest plans.I wish you rest, happiness, and all the magic the holidays can offer.
