Nervous and Excited
Stephanie clutched the handle of her trolley tighter. Every step she took, she felt more and more nervous. What if I don't make any friends? What if I don't like the house I am in?
Lots of anxious thoughts entered her mind. As if her father had sensed her stress, he layed his hand on her shoulder and whispered "Dont worry little my little bundle of nerves, you're going to be just fine." He gave her a little wink. Whilst shaking her head to get rid of those, nerves she straightened her back and walked the distance to the wall between platform 9 and 10.
She saw another family just behind her, looking towards her in expectation. Weird thought Stephanie. What are they waiting for? Unable to wait any longer she ran ahead straight at the wall, just like her parents told her. Both of her parents, Theodore and Susannah, had gone to Hogwarts.
Choo! Choo!
Stephanie looked in awe at the beautiful scarlet-red train blowing smoke. Her parents snapped her out of her trance. "We are going to miss you so much Steph!" Her mother said with slightly wet eyes. "Yes, certainly. However will we endure our dinners without your lovely yapping?" Her father said with a mischievous smile.
"I'm going to miss you too. I'll write soon!" Stephanie's nervousness had now turned into excitement. She couldn't wait to find out about her new classmates and classes. Her mother helped her get her bags of the trolley while her father looked for empty compartments on the train.
"Hmpf, maybe that third bag was a little unnecessary, don't you think?" Her mother was rubbing her back with a frown on her face.
"It might have been, but like daddy always says: Look good, feel good." Stephanie said with a proud grin.
"That's my girl!" Theodore clapped his hands together. "So, time for you to go sweetheart. I found an empty compartment just there." He pointed to the third door from the right of them. He gave her a peck on her cheek and ruffled up her hair a bit.
"Hey! Stop that." Stephanie said with a fake angry look. She looked back to her mother and gave her a big hug.
"Bye sweetheart, have a nice time!"
Stephanie, with her backpack, shoulderbag and suitcase, walked towards the train door. She looked back and waved for the last time. She looked around expectingly, hopefully she could fine someone to sit with.

Nervous and Excited
Astrid had jut said goodbye to her parents before boarding the beautiful scarlet colored train. The Hogwarts Express. Her nerves turned to excitement as she dragged her trunk behind her, looking for an empty compartment. She passed many people throughout the train. She avoided eye contact with some of them, a rare shyness overcoming her as she walked along the train. There was so many people, so much noise, so many colors. She let out an inaudible sigh, talking to herself
"Never thought there could be so many people on the train, never thought there were so many wizards. I wonder what house they'll be in, wonder what's gonna happen at Hogwarts. Will I make any friends? Possibly. What about getting a crush? Unlikely, I don't do crushes, their a waste of good time,"
She said, talking to herself, and earning some weird looks from other students walking by her, she quickly realized she should shut up as she continued navigating the train, before finding an empty compartment. She quickly walked inside, sliding the door shut as she placed her trunk on the rack overhead and sat down, before finding that position uncomfortable and putting her legs on the back of the seat and hanging upside down, head above the floor, hair spilling out on the floor behind her as she quietly watched the trees go by in the window with increasing interest. Then she noticed a girl that looked about her age dodging students as well, she quickly tumbled to the floor, picking herself up neatly and sliding the compartment door open, sticking her head out with a grin and looking at the girl
"Hey there! Wanna sit with me, my compartments empty, well, besides me of course. Just a warning, I may be mentally insane, talking to myself and all that fun stuff, and hanging upside down. But besides that I'm completely normal. So you wanna sit with me?"
Astrid asked the girl with a cheery yet bold voice and a grin. her red hair still tangled from tumbling onto the floor, her gold and blue eyes lifting slightly at the edges with her grin. Ahh, how she loved confusing people with saying she was mentally insane. It was the best fun ever. She gestured at the girl
"So, you comin' or what? 'Cause if you ain't I'd rather be sitting upside down again, make your choice!"
Astrid said cheerfully, waiting for the girl to respond
