Lily had first stepped into the Diagon Alley around half an hour ago. She had come with her parents to buy things for her first-year at Hogwarts. Yes, she was finally going to the place she had dreamt of going to for ages.

Now, they had already went to the Gringotts Bank, where she was absolutely fascinated by the goblins (yes, she would use the term fascinated rather than scared.). They had retrieved some money from their account and after a lot of begging, her parents had allowed her to hold the pouch (she could be, at times, clumsy).

Now, she stood before Ollivanders, a place where she could get her wand. Finally, she could get her wand. She had heard the story of how her sister, Isabell,e and gotten her wand. Goodness. They had to try at least 5 different wands, before she could get hers.

She entered the shop, the bell ringing behind her. A second later, it rang again. This time, it was her parents, who were glaring at her as if she had ran away (Which she had actually...)

"Hello. Looking for a wand?", someone said, making Lily jump a little. There was a man standing behind the counter, surrounded by boxes and boxes of wands.

"Oh hello Robert. Oh Elina, you are also here? I remember both of your wands. Nice to hear that you have been keeping them well.", he said. Her parents seemed to smile at this.

"Now. You want a wand, right?", the man asked Lily. Lily nodded in reply. Th man pulled out a box. "Let's try this. 30,6 cm mayhaw wood and dragon heartstring Very flexible." Lily held the wand, but didn't feel magical. Maybe the next wand she would try would be better?

"23,9 cm hazel wood and kneazle whiskers. Let's try this one." Lily held the wand, hoping for something magical. And a shower of red sparkles blew from the tip of the wand. "Wow! That looks so amazing...", Lily gasped in surprise as she swished her wand and more sparkles flew around her.

"I see that the wand has chosen you. If you would like to purchase that wand, that would be one galleon, please." Lily carefully took out her purse and took out one galleon to hand it to him. He took the coin, took the wand and packed it in a box and gave it to Lily. "Have a nice day.", he said. "Same to you", Lily replied.

As they stepped out of the shop, Lily practically glowed with happiness. Her mother warned her (typical moms....) that she should take care of her wand. Lily promised that she would take the best care of it. Her mother didn't look convinced but seeing Lily's smile, the corners of her lips lifted too.

"How about we get some ice-cream now? I am hungry.", Lily asked her parents.
