First person POV
It was after breakfast when it happened, I was in my warm cloak and was wearing my favourite earmuffs. Then I heard it, the loud, obnoxious voice. "Earmuffs are so 2016." My head snapped up, these earmuffs were my big sister Skye's present before going off to University, and she was calling then old-fashioned? The nerve of some people. I keep walking, not having the energy to talk to the girl. "Hey I'm talking to you!" The girl grabs my earmuffs and chucks them onto the wet, muddy ground. The rude girl crosses her arms expectantly expecting me to react badly to it. I wanted to, I really did, but something about seeing my sister's earmuffs in the mud made me strangely calm, it was as if I had anticipated it without even realising.

Slowly, I crouch down and pick up the muddy earmuffs. With my left hand I brush some of the mud off with quick strokes. "Its okay, accidents happen" Then I smile at the girl and walk away.

Then, it happens again two weeks later while I'm going to class, my books gets slapped out of my hands. I snap my head up towards the person only to see that same girl again. "What is your problem?!" I snap and she breaks down in tears. Something must be going on with her, family troubles or school life must be stressing her out completely. With a sigh, i pick up my books and give the other girl a sympathetic smile "Hey... it's okay. I forgive you. You have clearly got stuff going on. Don't worry about it" I then gave the girl a quick hug then went about my day, feeling slightly better about myself as I forgave someone instead of getting angry like I normally would.
