“Lindsey, are you okay?” Avery yelled, a bit far from me, hoping for an honest answer.
I had apparently just woken up in the Gryffindor dormitory after falling off a broomstick and going to the Hospital wing all in one day. What? I’m accident prone I guess? I tried to stand up after getting out of bed but I ended up just collapsing right onto the floor. Maybe Avery  felt sorry for me because the minute I collapsed, she ran straight over to me and asked if I was okay. I could hear Avery’s foot tap the ground, rapidly and frequently, as I noticed it get louder. Next second, she’s next to me asking if I’m fine. “I’m fine.” I lied. I seriously didn’t mean it and I think she could tell. She also looked sorry for me.
“You're not okay! We need to get you to the Hospital wing!” Nala yelled after barging in the girls dormitory and shaking her head in fury. “Now!”
“Nala, calm down!” Avery said. “We don’t even know where it hurts even if it does hurt. Does it hurt, Lindsey?”
“All the sudden I heard a crunch and crack and we all looked at Avery. Her knuckles were pale and bleeding. Her face was also very pale. “Sorry”.
“Avery,” I said. I had to say it three times before she would look at me. “Avery, don’t beat yourself up literally. I’m fine, maybe.”
Lily walked in after hearing Nala yell and the loud sounds. They were all talking and no one had heard Lily walk in.
 “What happened? Who’s hurt?” Lily asked as the room went silent after seeing her walk in. Lily looked at us tiredly, just after waking up. Her eyes gazed over Avery’s bleeding knuckles to Me on the ground. Slowly, she opened her eyes wider to see me on the ground. “ Avery!Lindsey! Are you guys okay?
“Of course they are not you, fool!” Nala yells, shaking in fury at Lily. She lets her eyes wander to Avery who is trembling to me while I have an angry look on my face. Her voice got softer as she said “Lily can’t you see they aren’t okay? Avery’s knuckles are bleeding while Lindsey can’t even stand.”
I can see; Nala,” Lily replied calmly. “I just wanted to know how they were emotionally feeling.”
As Lily spoke, the tension in the room was rising higher and higher. I could almost sense it and feel it.  What happened though? Why did you hurt yourself? Guys?!” She looks at Avery and Nala, hoping for someone to do something effective. Although with Avery knuckles bleeding she couldn’t do much. Lily walked over to Avery and grabbed her hand gently. She wiped the blood and wrapped it in a white, silvery gauze around her hand. “Better?”
“Much,” Avery replied quite sad. She looked over to me. “Lindsey, what hurts?”
“Guys,” Lily looked over Avery and Nala. “Whisper.” 
“Yeah, sorry,” Nala replied. She didn’t look sorry at all but at least she lowered her voice. “What hurt’s?
“Okay, fine, how about let’s whisper,” I then say very quietly, my voice, almost as quiet as a mouse’s squeak. I opened my mouth to speak but I was interrupted by Nala. “Mostly my-”
“Lin, please tell us!” Nala whispered pacticulary begging me to tell her and everyone else.
“She was about to tell us before you interrupted her,” Lily snapped.
“Yeah, sorry,” Nala replied. She didn’t even look sorry at all but at least she lowered her voice. “What hurts-?”
  “What hurts? Lin, tell us!” Avery whispered, turning towards me with sadness and pity in her eyes.
I started again. “Mostly my head and leg is in pain.”I shook my head to get rid of the pain but it just caused even more pain. “My head hurts and my leg.” I decided to tell the truth. “Actually, everywhere hurts.”
“Can you lean on me?.Or can you walk?” Avery asked, her voice sounding very hopeful. Or do we need to get a professor?”
“I can’t walk!” I yelled as I tried to stand. “I’m so stupid! “
“I can’t move either,” I say as I try to lift my body but it just  thumps to the ground.
“I’ll go get a Professor! Av, can you find a few blankets and a pillow? Oh, Nala, can you get Lin a cool compress for her forehead? I’ll be back in a few with help,” Lily asked.
“Ouch,” I say, just trying to sit up.
“Lin, are you okay?” Avery called over to me while gathering a few blankets like Lily instructed. 
“Can I be of any help?” Fred asks, walking in.
“Yeah help lift up Mar as I slide the blankets under her,” Avery replies
Nala got a cool compress and sat beside me along with Avery. Nala held out the compress to Avery. “Here”. Avery then took the compress and placed it gently on my forehead.
A few minutes later, Lily comes running in with Madam Promferay. By that time, I was asleep.
“Where is the patient?” Madam Pomferay asks very loudly, making me stir.
“Whisper,” Nala said pointing to my stirring half sleeping body.
“Huh,” I asked, stirring. As I stirred, I felt a pain almost like lighting, searing though my body. With that I gave a loud Yelp!
“My goodness,” Madam something said as she rushed over to me, turned to Lily, Avery and Nala. “Did she say where it hurts?”
“Everywhere,” Avery, Nala and Lily replied together.
“I’m fine,” I replied.
“I highly doubt that!” Lily daid.
“ I agree,” Nala replied. “Otherwise you wouldn’t have collapsed three times.”
“I also agree with Nala and Lily,” Avery replied.
“Two times back to back in one week!” I said asperated. “Why does this always happen to me?”
“Well, the first time it happened was when we were flying yesterday,” Nala replied as Madam Pomferary left.
“My leg still hurts,”  I said as I tried to stand up. I slowly pushed my way off the floor  and gingerly put weight on my leg. I could walk!
“YAY! Lin CAN WALK!!!” Lily replied
