Letter From A Friend
Dear Piper,
How are things going? I hope you are in a good state. I wish the earth would take a break from spinning and that you would get some time for yourself. I'm just thinking out loud. The truth is I can't get you off my mind, and I was kind of feeling that it was the right time to drop you a line. It's something that you can't really explain, but to me, there is a thing that is outstanding when you live in a hurry yet you still find some time to get in touch with the people that you love, and that is it.With me, everything has been as it should be, but still, the days sometimes merge into one another. But then, I have been pushing myself to notice the tiniest things around me, such as maybe how a song we really like can influence us in completely different ways depending on our mood or the fact that a hot drink can be like a little reminder to take our pace down. I am wondering what little things provide you with comfort now? It can be a color, a sound, a place, or anything that you are accustomed to.I feel an urge to know more about you beyond the surface. What is one hobby that you have really gotten into lately? Is there anything new that you have been wanting to do but haven’t yet? And, if I may be so bold, how would you describe your ideal day? It is not the day that the world expects to be perfect but your perfect day. What would it be?We, as a rule, lean on those memories that we keep close to our hearts, and, in fact, they are the very ones that define us without our being aware of it. Do you? Maybe you have a memory that appears to be nothing for others, but for you, it is very important?You should never forget that I am not the person who will be waiting for your response with impatience. In case you still decide to drop me a line, then that will be more than enough to make me happy.
