It was past curfew.
Zion had unfortunately fallen asleep in the Rehearsal Room. Not a single person had woken him up. The only reason he was up now was because of Lenora's piano playing.
Of course, Zion being Zion, had gotten lost in the music at first... only to realize much later that the two were out of their Common Rooms past curfew.
He briefly studied his new pale friend up and down. He had fallen asleep in the Rehearsal Room but what the hell was she doing in there past curfew? She either doesn't know the rules or she doesn't give a fuck... Zion thought to himself.
Still holding Lenora by the wrist, Zion led the girl along the walls, being careful not to be spotted by roaming prefects or a professor. Realizing, he had been grabbing the girl's wrist the whole time, Zion let go.
"Uh... sorry," Zion whispered. "I was kinda locked in on... not getting caught. Hope I didn't squeeze too hard or hurt you."
The boy could have sworn he heard footsteps, as he instinctively pulled Lenora to the the shadows. When he saw that the coast was clear he let out a soft exhale.
"Fuck. I need to watch where I fucking sleep next time," Zion muttered under his breath.
He turned to his new Hufflepuff friend to check up on her. "How you feeling?"
How Did We Get Here...
@Zion DavisLenora had been having trouble sleeping since the day she arrived at Hogwarts. She hadn't been able to resist, so she went to play the piano like she used to at home. It was during this time that she met Zion.
She knew he'd broken the law by coming to the rehearsal room, but she didn't know how long they'd been together. Right now, Zion's grip on her wrist had made hre try to follow Zion's lead. Her vision was blurry, and she could barely see anything now, the only aids coming from the torches and the moonlight. She was trying hard not to trip as she walked, but she stumbled a few times.
"It's okay. When you have sensitive skin, you get used to redness and pain."
When she saw that her wrist was red, she felt her eyes flicker. Suddenly, she heard footsteps, and before she knew it, Lenora felt herself being drawn into the darkness.
"I feel like a bat. Other than that, I think I'm fine. So how do you feel?"
When the footsteps passed, Lenora cautiously stepped outside. She thought Zion had left too.
"What floor are we on now?"
She spoke in a whisper.
