Louis's Invitation solo

Louis's Invitation
Dearest Lottie,

I hope the start of your school year has gone according to your wishes. I’ve been keeping an eye on the Hogwarts paper, and was pleasantly surprised to see you had been bumped up to first-string keeper. I still think the position is a bore, but you seem to be enjoying yourself. Which is all that matters, I suppose.

This letter was not just for pleasantries. I was displeased with how our last meeting had ended, and I was hoping that you had your schedule cleared for this winter break. I sent a letter to mother already, though obviously I had certain details omitted. Such as that I would like you to meet my fiancée. The muggle one. She and I have also been speaking, and she believes it best that I stop hiding so much from you all. There was perhaps an additional ultimatum slid in there, but nonetheless, I think it would be beneficial for all of us if I stopped being so secretive with those who don’t deserve it.

Anadil has also received an invite. I did not tell you when I visited earlier this year, but her and I have maintained close contact since her departure. She was the first to know of my engagement and has already met my fiancée at the start of the summer. I imagined it would be good for the two of you to meet in-person again. I know how close you once were, long before her little rebellion. I can't exactly be accusatory, though, as I suppose I've also been keeping quite large secrets from mother and father. Not that father would really care one way or the other, I don't think.

I digress. My invitation stands until a week prior to your break, as I'll need to book your ticket and make sleeping arrangements in the spare room. I'll be off work until Christmas is over. I hope to see you. I've missed you.

Cheers,
Louis
