It was quite windy and bitingly cold as Beatrice made her way down to the Broom Racing tracks. She hadn't been here in a long time, the last for practice in the last school year, and before that. Had it been to watch Hunter? That felt like a life time ago... Now she was here as a broom racing captain, something she had never in a million years would have guessed a couple of years ago.
Tucking herself further into her new coat, she tightened her scarf and made her way across the starting line to her observation post. Leaves flew across the track as Autumn came calling, and the wind whistled in response. It would be a chilly year, Bea reasoned. Hopefully the weather wouldn't turn too much on the players today.
This was the morning race, with her own team to race in the afternoon. Hopefully no rain wouldn't come. She looked over the teams at the starting line. Who would win today? "Racers ready?" She called out, bringing their attention to the fact that the game would begin shortly. "Hufflepuff verses Gryffindor. Get ready! Begin!"
