"46. 47," Zion panted, as his horizontal body ascended and descended from his pushups.

Earlier that day, he had seen an upperclassman earlier using the Levitation Charm to move some furniture and boxes.

"48, 49," the boy continued. Won't catch me doing that weak shit, Zion thought to himself. Grown ass man needs magic to do what grown men should be doing themselves.

"50..." Zion counted with a deep exhale. He pushed himself off the ground using nothing but strength, as he stood straight up on his feet. "Ain't gon catch me struggling to lift shit without a wand," the boy grumbled under his breath.

He turned his gaze towards the Great Lake. The sky was cloudy that afternoon with little open spots here and there that allowed the sun's rays to pierce through as if angels would descend.

The wind was soothing and crisp that day. Perfect weather to sweat in. The Hufflepuff first-year closed his eyes as the breeze blew against his sweaty body.

"Perfect weather to hoop right now," Zion sighed. No one else at Hogwarts seemed to enjoy or even know the concept of basketball. Even in Manchester, Zion always found a way to hoop with strangers. Without a court in sight on the school grounds, it had been a little over a month now since he dribbled a ball.

The Detroit native found a patch of green grass as he plopped down and continued to enjoy the Great Lake's view. He remembered sitting in front of the Detroit River with his childhood friends, the Bad Boys, as they ate snacks and talked about things that didn't really matter.

Those were the days.

Zion took out a piece of dried beef jerky from his pocket, and began chewing on it.

"Now it's just me, huh," he said with a monotone voice.

The boy stared blankly at the lake's rippling waters. Maybe it was time he tried this whole "making new friends" thing. Although the boy enjoyed his alone time, things were starting to get a little stagnant and boring.

He took another bite out of the dried meat.
