Visit at Gringots
Visiting Gringotts for the first time was nothing like I expected. I had always heard stories about the towering white marble building, the goblins with sharp eyes, and the endless tunnels filled with treasure. But standing in front of the massive doors, hearing the heavy clinks of coins and the occasional roar of a dragon deep underground, made everything feel both exciting and strangely intimidating.
My parents had accompanied me, and as we entered, I couldn’t help but notice the serious, almost businesslike atmosphere. The goblins moved with swift precision, handling piles of gold and silver with incredible care. It wasn’t just a bank — it was a fortress of wealth, history, and secrets.
When it came my turn, I was led to a tall counter where the goblin clerk gave me a sharp glance and asked questions I wasn’t prepared for. My father, calm and steady, answered for me. That’s when I saw it — the detailed records, the vault numbers, the sums of money that didn’t match what I had imagined.
I realized then, for the first time, just how much responsibility came with being part of my family. We weren’t the richest wizards in the world, certainly not like some of the old pureblood families I’d heard about, but there was still a significant legacy to uphold. It was both a weight and a privilege.
I felt a strange mix of pride and pressure. Pride that my parents had worked hard to provide this security and pressure because now, more than ever, I understood the expectations placed on me — not just to live up to their name but to contribute, to be worthy of the trust and resources they had.
As we left Gringotts, the heavy doors closing behind us, I looked back once more. The vaults beneath the city were a reminder of the unseen foundation supporting my future. It was the first time I truly saw my family’s finances for what they were — a powerful, complicated part of who I was and who I wanted to become.

Reducio
