First year student finds the divination classroom

While Sienna was wandering through antediluvian pathways of the castle, the echo of her footsteps was visible to hear, but it was indeed very soft. As a matter of fact, the mysterious aura of the ancient place was the thing that attracted her the most. Lighting by torch and incensing the air, these two things melted into one, to lead her to a rather unique staircase, which for sure, had never been her waiving goodbye to and would not be ever. Her curiosity pulled her by the hand and as a matter of fact, she was on her way up a spiral stair to a round room high in one of the towers - The Divination classroom.

As a matter of fact, Sienna could not help but let out an awe exclamation upon entering the room! The place was not over-illuminated; quite the contrary it was very dim indeed but to her surprise, it was lighted with the warm and golden color of some lamps that were hidden from direct view. The air was redolent with the smell of tea leaves and something that was as a faint fragrance as it was floral and almost otherworldly. The room was so inviting and comfortable indeed; in fact, around the small round tables, surrounded by plush armchairs all covered in lace cloths, were teacups and very curious objects. Everywhere on the walls, there were bookcases packed with very dusty books, crystal balls and a lot of mysterious miniature things that were even shimmering a little in the light.

It was a table that was close to the center of the room that first attracted her sight. A large and perfectly clear crystal ball on a silver stand was what was found on the table. Sienna moved very slowly because of the huge mixture that was pulsing in her chest of excitement and nervousness at the same time. Extending her hand, she allowed her fingertips to be only a few inches away from the cold glass surface.

To herself she said in a very low voice: "What on earth would one do with such a thing as this?" Her voice was not caught by anyone and it seemed to her that it had completely disappeared in the stillness of the room. She went on transforming herself within the crystal itself and upon the sphere she saw her face distorted. Movement inside the crystal, only momentarily, was what she thought she could see.

An involuntary shudder descended from her neck to her back. "Well, perhaps," she said with a small smile, "the castle still has some puzzles left to be revealed to me."
