Zion has smooth dark chocolate skin. His carefully crafted hair is thick and dense, but his craft over it is not quite there yet; a skill he will grow with experience. He stands five feet tall with a build a bit bigger than the average boy.

Zion is a proud but kind young man. Having grown up in Detroit in his early childhood, he often finds the actions of other cultures as intriguing and strange, when in fact it is Detroit culture that is often unique. Ever confident, Zion lives life with very little worries and has a gift of making jokes in all circumstances no matter how serious.
Despite being Muggle-born, Zion is not afraid to ask questions and criticize points he may disagree with. While he is excellent with people and has a gift of making them laugh and feel comfortable, Zion struggles to make deep relationships in fear of saying goodbye one day like he did with his friends in Detroit. His energy is usually calm and mellow unless there are things that need to get done.
He is an introverted young man, but never hesitates to speak. When wandering about or when he is bored, Zion subconsciously begins singing, specifically R&B tunes. For someone that has gotten zero vocal training, his singing voice is fairly decent. His celebrity crush is SZA.
Without having his phone to listen to music at Hogwarts, Zion can often be find writing his own songs in his free time. Perhaps one day he would pursue music?

Zion is the son of Thomas and Vivian Davis. Thomas made a living as a car mechanic living in Detroit while Vivian worked diligently as a registered nurse. The two raised Zion with love, strength, and wisdom, making sure the boy was raised to stand up for himself while also being a decent human being. All of this despite working overtime themselves to make ends meet.

A big opportunity overseas had Thomas open a successful mechanic business in Manchester. Vivian also, soon after became the Head Nurse of a local Manchester hospital. Despite living a more comfortable life in Manchester, Zion sought to be back in the streets of Detroit that molded him. In a slight act of rebellion against his parents for making him leave everything he loved, Zion made no effort to make new friends in his new home. With his parents busier with work, Zion often just lifted weights at home or went to the local park to play basketball with strangers. Being around majority Black Americans growing up, Zion struggled to adjust well to a new culture where even people that looked like him seemed to have a hard time understanding his way of thinking. Things became complicated when he learned of his magic origins. When Thomas and Vivian learned of their boy's magic blood, they were worried at first but quickly became supportive. Zion however was not excited to be in a place he knew so little about. Hogwarts brought no excitement to the boy, for all he wanted was to be back in Detroit.

While he was 10, just when his parents had moved to Manchester, Zion was benching weights when he realized that he had bit off more than he could chew. Unable to lift the benching bar up from his chest, Zion frantically struggled to escape a crushing fate. With all his might, Zion pushed desperately, when the bar suddenly began floating. The boy quickly moved to the side then stared blankly at the levitating bench bar. It came crashing down, moments after.

That's my pops. Wouldn't be the man I was today without him. Pops and I have our differences, but at the end of the day it's all love.

He taught me how to fight, lift weights, and he taught me how to dribble and shoot a basketball.

But don't get me started on how stubborn he is. Old man always think he right. Wonder how Mama does it. She wins every argument...




I love my Mama. Even though she never missed a shift as a nurse, I never felt neglected or unloved. She made sure of that.

But boy is that woman terrifying. Even Pops gotta watch what he says in front of Mama.

I swear she could read minds. She knows every little chore and homework I didn't do before even checking. Ain't no point lying in front of her cuz she'll read it all.

"We ride together. We die together. Bad boys for life."

We got that from our first Rated R movie. Bad Boys 2. Thank God we got to the credits before Kamari's mom caught us watching it in the basement. Might've been the first time I was running away from somebody else's momma.

That's us right there. The Bad Boys. Ben, Malik, me, Caleb, and Kamari. They had my back since day one and I had theirs. I miss everything man. Hooping with them, the banters, the jokes, talkin about pretty girls, playin video games together. That was life right there. I miss Detroit.

I know we'll see each other again. After all, it's Bad Boys for life.
