Val had heard about the fall ball and initially she wasn’t planning to go, but she thought maybe Dylan was going to go so she decided on going. But Val's only problem now was that she doesn't have many dresses the only one she had was during the wedding and that one holds a lot of bad memories Val did not want to remember. "I guess i have to go dress shopping" Val sighed and stood up and headed to the great hall.

She snuck out through the back and began making her way to diagon alley. Now the only problem was that Val had no clue where to get dresses. She heard a few Gryffindor girls talking about madam Malkin so she thought why not try there?

Val walked towards madam Malkin's shop and headed inside. She took in the scenery of fabric and dresses and suits everywhere. It was a mess but it had beautiful clothes everywhere! Val quickly made her way to the dress aisle and was caught of guard by the amount of dresses. "Ugh the all look... interesting but which one do i pick? This is a big pain..." Val thought she continued staring at the dress having no clue what to do.

Ellie had asked her parents to let her get a dress when they went back to school shopping. "Don't you already have enough dresses?" They had asked but had agreed to get her a dress. They had picked up all her books and other needs for Ellie and her sister, Tiana's, second year of Hogwarts then they walked to the dress shop.

"We're going to go get a drink, how about you girls go look by yourself." They said and after Ellie and Tiana agreed, walked away to get a coffee or something of the sort. After they entered the shop, Tiana saw a group of her friends and went to them. Tiana had always been the one who made friends and stuck with friends fast. Ellie wandered the shelf's searching for the perfect dress. The one that spoke 'ocean' to her.

One of the assistants for the shop came to her and asked if she needed help finding a dress. "No, thank you though. Just browsing." Ellie responded, giving her a smile.

Ellie walked around to another aisle. A girl was already here and she seemed mad at... the dresses? Ellie listened to what she said about there being to many dresses and Ellie laughed. "Sorry, I couldn't help but over hear, There is a lot of pretty dresses! It's so hard to find one!"

Val turned around and looked at a girl who was most likely talking to her. "Okay, like not to be rude or anything, but do I know you?" Val said with a cold tone. She really didn't feel like interacting with anyone right now, especially a girl who would start some fights or something.

Val doesn't like speaking to girls in the castle. Heck, she doesn't like speaking to anyone. The only person she had talked to and made friends with was Dylan. She rolled her eyes, not caring if the girl saw or not. "Chicas hoy en día. No puedo dejar a alguien solo." Girls these days can't leave someone alone She muttered in Spanish. "Can I help you with anything? Or did you just come to bother me?" She asked, raising one eyebrow, visibly annoyed.

Val didn't even wait for the girl's response; she just turned on her heel and began going to the dress aisle to look for dresses she actually found good-looking without people bothering her.
