Maddy stood at the branch of a tree, her legs swinging as excitement coursed through her veins. The Hawke's were coming over today and Maddy couldnt wait to meet Ryder; her cousin.
The Hawke's were also pureblood and came from a line of Gryffindor's just like the Tomlinson's. Maddy's mother was a Hawke and Ryder's Father was her brother, though it felt nothing like it. Ryders Father Adrian Hawke was a brooding man who preferred work over everything. He would only visit during holiday. His wife Honoria Hawke just like him. Seems fitting for Maddy, but she felt a pang of sadness for Ryder and maybe that is why she didnt let him have a second of Boredom when he was here. And on the other hand Maddy's family.....well she'd rather not say but she wouldnt change it for the world. This is what she likes and she loves her family to bits.
With Ryder, Maddy could have a younger brother she never had. Being in a house with two older brothers sometimes got annoying, especially if your brothers are Louis and Benedict. Whenever Ryder would come over she would boss him around and felt really good with the authority but ofcourse Ryder would sizzle her mood with a reply of his, but oddly enough he would still oblige.
Maddy heard the voice of Louis calling her, "Faye, Ryder's here, come on, get off of there."
Maddy grinned hearing that, today was going to be a long day for her cousin and she could not have been happier.

Ryder was already tired and he hasn't even met the trouble making siblings yet. He sighed as he reached their house and sure enough he heard Louis's large booming voice yelling to Maddy to get down.
Maddy's mother opened the door as she smiled at him, "Hey Auntie, how are you? Sorry mother and father couldn't make it." She gave him a half smile as he said that. He didn't need this, this pity.
He went in to notice her legs before he saw her, typical Maddy, “Brilliant,” he muttered under his breath, dragging his trunk behind him as Maddy's laugh in reply to Louis echoed through the garden. “Didn’t even make it five minutes before she’s got a tree involved.”
“You really haven’t changed, Mads,” he said, trying not to smile.
He shoved his hands into his pockets, stepping closer. “You know, normal people greet their cousins at ground level.”
Still, as she grinned down at him, the corner of his mouth tugged up. For all his pretending, he’d missed this — missed her.
This was the place where he truly felt like home. Louis came over ruffling his hair and Benedict winked at him from far away already grinning. These siblings were definitely upto something, he knew that for sure. But, this is what was his home and he loved it despite him not showing it.

She walked over towards Ryder saying, "Normal people," she jabbed a finger at him, "Are boring, and you didnt came all the way here wo be bored right?"
She smirked as she started walking inside the house with him, "You know you should have known you were in for trouble before entering the house RyRy!"
Benny came over and said, "Maddy is right y'know, this place is not for people requiring peace, anyways you both will be starting Hogwarts this year." He wiped a fake tear whilst Louis grinned and putting one arm each around both of them he said, "Benny our little babies have grown, how fast time changes right? I wonder which houses you will go in. Probably Gryffindor for Maddy and.......Ry.......well I guess you HAVE to be a Gryffindor right? Its ok you will be."
The atmosphere of the house suddenly felt cold and dense, Maddy shrugged Louis arm off of her and harshly smacked his head, "Good going Ditto, now you made it awkward and sad, this is not what he was here to discuss. We are going to have fun and forget about all our worries lets go! No more depressing topics now."
Louis rubbed his head where Maddy had hit him while Benny just grinned like this was the best day as all of them went into the living room.
