George's First Visit at Ollivanders
After exiting Flourish and Blotts with a huge bag full of books, namely his school books and 'Quidditch through the Ages' (of which he had already finished two chapters) , he walked into Ollivanders.

When he entered the tiny shop, he couldn't see the shopkeeper anywhere. Maybe he was hiding under the desk? George went forward to look. But no Garrick Ollivander. He went to the back room. Still no Ollivander. He stared wondering if he should check in the cabinets full of wands or something, when a gruff voice hit him.

'Are you looking for a wand, my student?' Ollivander asked. 'Er, no-', George stammered. 'You should probably try this one, twelve inches, holly and unicorn tail hair, Nice and flexible. Wave it.' Ollivander added. George waved the wand. 'Hmmm, maybe not. Try this one - Nine and a half inches, acacia and phoenix feather. Nice and supple.' George raised the wand. Before George could do anything else, Ollivander snatched it out of his hand and said, 'Hmmm, the wand really chooses the wizard. No, no, try this one. Fourteen and a quarter inches, rowan and dragon heartstring, very flexible.' George waved the wand. Red and gold sparks flew out of the end, lighting up the tiny shop. 'Oh, wonderful!' Ollivander said and clapped his hands.

A few minutes later, George had managed to wave his wand wildly and make green sparks fly out and to jab some random woman in the hand. His hand and wand seemed to rejoice in their union. Truly, the wand chooses the wizard.
