Physical Description: Iris has long red hair with blue eyes. She has a slender build and inherited her mother's tall height.
Mental Description: Being the youngest of her family, Iris was always somewhat looked over. But something that set her apart, she realized, was her humor. You can always rely on her to give you a good laugh. She is also much smarter than she would ever give herself credit for. She adores subjects such as language, history and geography. Most things come to her easily, but if not, she is quick to give up.
Biography: Born in October of 2013 in Aberdeen Scotland, Iris is the youngest of 5 children with 3 older brothers and 1 older sister. A half-blood, her mother attended Hogwarts and graduated in the class of '91. Her father grew up on a dairy farm and upon meeting her mother, they decided to raise their family out in the Scottish countryside. All of her siblings attended Hogwarts and varied different houses. Only one brother, Robert, remains at school 3 years ahead of her in Gryffindor. In her family, there is no pressure to be in a certain house, but to be your authentic self through and through. Iris has no preference of house and often feels like she possesses qualities of them all. When she grows up, she would love to be a professor of the History of Magic.
First Instance of Magic: Growing up in Aberdeen Scotland provided a freedom few know. As a child, Iris ran around fields and wooded areas with her siblings playing games and avoiding chores. Her first recollection of her own use of magic was when she was 5 years old. She and her older brothers Robert and Isaac were playing hide and seek in the forest and it was her turn to hide. As she stood below a tree with her back to the log she felt as though she were going to sneeze. AH CHOO! And then, she began to float high into the air. She panicked, grabbing at different branches and crying for help. Luckily her brothers ran to her aide and cast a spell to bring her back down. Tricky thing, magic.
