“Lost in the Pages”
Mike was getting bored so he decided to learn something in the library and also explore it.
He found the way to Library from Common room and reached in front of a tall wide entrance and entered.
Mike reached inside the library but he was so surprised and confused, from inside he didn't expect that the library would be this much large and have hundreds of shelves with over thousands of books of different category. He was so confused and was not knowing from where to start, then he saw a a heading written "DADA" with an sub heading "Defense Against the Dark Arts". He remembered quickly that this subject contains many spells used in duelling and many other purpose.
He found many books on that shelf, their titles shimmering slightly under the flickering candlelight. Some looked worn and ancient, with cracked leather covers and faded gold lettering, while others seemed almost new, as if freshly enchanted. Mike carefully picked up one titled “Advanced Defensive Charms” and flipped it open. The pages were filled with diagrams of spells, dueling stances, and annotations in the margins — some written by students long ago, others by famous wizards.
As he read, he noticed a small, folded note tucked between the pages. Curious, he unfolded it and saw a message written in a neat, hurried hand:
“Beware the shadows in the library at night — some knowledge comes at a price.”
Mike’s heart skipped a beat. The library suddenly felt bigger, darker, and more mysterious than before. He realized that this was not just a place for studying — it held secrets, challenges, and perhaps even a little danger.
He quickly took that book and kept it and then rushed towards the common room, he didn't want anyone to see that so he hide it and reached to the Common room, he make sure that noone was seeing him and he begin to read that and found some interesting things and secrets hidden in the library.
He now decided to not tell anyone about that and decided to find that in the library with his friend.
