First Transfiguration Class

After a good night's sleep, Kael and Jasper walk to the Transfiguration classroom. They have gotten lost 2 times on their way there, but at last, they did make it to the classroom. They sat down at one of the tables. The Transfiguration Professor turns a teacup into a water goblet and back again, making all the students eager to start. But, they knew they won't be turning cups into goblets for a long time. The Transfiguration Professor assigns one task to the whole class - turn a match into a needle. "Conmutocus!" Kael whispers, and the match turns into a needle. The Transfiguration Professor shows to the class how Kael had made a difference to their match, as it had gone all silver and pointy, then gives Kael a rare smile. The whole class tries, but only Kael and a few Ravenclaw students had made any difference to their match. Jasper tries the spell, but he accidentally turns his match into a tiny carrot. Kael whispers, "Try focusing on the form." helping him. One Gryffindor kid kept turning things into frogs, causing them to hop all around the room. After the class, in the hallway, Jasper whispers: “You make it look easy… I’m going to need private lessons after this.”. Kael grins, “Deal, but don’t tell anyone. You might get sent to the hospital wing for laughing too hard.”
