Oh my, hello there PET

Val stared at the tall Menagerie in front of her. Never had she thought she would be getting a pet, but she was pretty lonely at Hogwarts and hadn't made much friends, so she thought an animal companion would be great! She stepped towards the building, opened the door, and stepped in. She still hadn't decided what animal or breed of animal she would get, but she was going to shoot her shot and see if she would make it.

At this point she was totally sure she was going to get lost if she just stood there or she wont get a pet considering the amount of people here so she had to hurry. She started wandering of to the ferret isle, she always liked ferrets and otters when she was younger but never had she thought she'd see one here; not that she was complaining. But much to her dismay she didn't feel like getting a pet which slept for 18 hours a day, so she moved up to the bunny isle.

Val didn't waste much time at the bunny isle as she personally wasn't a fan of them. Yes, she did know that they are cute but she wasn't into most fluffy animals. Example bunnies.

Val then proceeded to move up to the snake aisle. She didn’t waste too much time there cause she already knew she was too young to be having a pet snake, so she went on to the next aisle. She then soon arrived at the owl aisle, now Val also didn’t waste time here. Don’t get her wrong she loved owls but they were nocturnal and were barely awake and she couldn’t bare the thought of when she was asleep it would be awake watching her so she just went to the cat aisle.

At the cat aisle she noticed a bunch of breeds she liked. Like a ginger cat and a black kitten. She looked at the prices and she could afford them but she didn’t know if she would. “I think I will just look around first then I’ll decide if I get the ginger cat or not” Valentin muttered to herself before walking down the aisle. She had looked at the other cats a bunch of other breeds she didn’t like or wasn’t too sure about.

She was about to turn back and towards the ginger cat that’s when a kitten caught her eye. It had blue eyes and was grey, with black around its nose. “Oh my, hello there” she said. “I like your eyes” she added. The small kitten tilted its head as if it could hear her. And right then there and then she knew this was the cat she would get. It was perfect, it’s blue eyes catching the light every now and then.

Val had talked to the register and pointed to the small kitten now resting in its cage and she hoped she would be able to get the small kitten
