Loneliness

Ally Craig has been burying herself in her classrooms and then hiding away in the library everyday to do her homework to hide the emptiness and loneliness away from the world.
But something lured her to the Corridors this afternoon instead after her Herbology class and instead of going to the library like she has been going everyday, she had found herself on the second floor corridors crying her eyes out because the loneliness she feels inside had finally caught up with her and had become too much for her to bear if only she was stronger, if only she was prettier or more likable these were thoughts running through her head then maybe just maybe she would have more friends. Or maybe if she didn't try so hard, she wouldn't bring these problems on herself.
But then again this time Ally only wished to go home and that earth would swallow her whole already since wherever she goes bad things always seem to follow.
She has faced more heartache than any girl her age should ever have to face. The ghosts of her past are finally rearing their ugly faces and reminding Ally why she will never be good enough for anything.
The words of Ally's stepfather are ringing in her ears loud and clear right now. No one will ever want to be around a freak like you someone who will never mount to anything.
Sorry guys if this is to much to hear but it is a true story halfway anyway she did go through some of this and so much more at the hands of her stepfather. I will add the full back story one day in my encyclopedia.

Hope, Faith, Love and Everlasting Friendships!

Loneliness
Felix was just heading to his next class. He'd decided to take a detour across the second floor before continuing downstairs. He doesn't particularly care if he's late (it's still so so early in the school year, there's hardly anything truly important happening in class anyway).

Felix is hoping to at least find something that's at least mildly interesting. He's been trying to reconnect to and meet new people this year, but it hasn't really been going that well, plus his MP3 player doesn't really work while he's at Hogwarts (something to do with magical interference or something dumb like that), so his main sources of entertainment so far has been reading (which gets old fast), playing pinfinger with a pencil, and greeting random first years.

And while that might seem like a lot to do, it's still kind of bleh.
He has still got a fanged frisbee in his trunk, but he's saving that for when he is truly, desperately, bored out of his mind. He's also got a bit of boxed hair dye and some lightener, but that's for later in the year, and once he's picked what colour(s) to do. He's quite indecisive about that. He's between red (because he really likes red) and green (because he's a Slytherin).
He's been stitching up his arm warmers too, because they were thrifted and have loose threads and tears, but he absolutely hates sewing' so that's less entertainment and more bloody torture. But since those arm warmers are pretty much the only spot of colour in his daily outfit (he's wearing school robes, plus his sneakers are black) so they're important, in his mind. Today he wore two different ones; one teal and red striped, one black with pink stars.

Anyways, what he didn't expect to find, as he's checking out the second floor corridors, was a girl, crying her eyes out like her favourite pet just up and died. Maybe it did.
He backs up, not wanting to get tangled up in this. He's absolute crap at comforting people, and he feels awkward as hell walking in on someone crying without doing anything.
After some minor reconsideration, he pauses his backward momentum and thinks. She does look rather upset. Would she rather be left alone or have company? Felix doesn't know.

Felix does still have some packets of popping candy in his pocket though (why they're there, he doesn't have a clue. He always has lots of miscellaneous items in his pockets, and occasionally, they become useful. It's the joys of cargo pants). Maybe she'd like some candy? he has always found that candy, especially strongly flavoured types, is good for when you're upset. It helps if you want to stop freaking out too (although, ice cubes or mints are usually better for that).

So, he walks up to the girl, cautiously, and stops just a little ways away. He rummages through his pocket to grab the candy and then holds it out to her. He tilts his head, curious to see what will happen.
