Her father – Ewen Magenta

Epona Magenta's father is named Ewen. He is 50 years old. Epona adores her father. He's a real doting dad. He always gives good advice. He's a great listener, and Epona knows she can confide in him. He loves taking her riding with him, telling her fascinating stories, and Epona loves it too! She never lacks hugs or kisses from her father, quite the opposite! Her father also went to Hogwarts; he helped her accept her magic and turn it into a real strength! He was in Ravenclaw when he was younger. Her father is hardworking, curious, intelligent, and sharp. Now, he has completely left the magical world to run a stud farm. This stud farm offers regular classes in the morning and riding lessons in the afternoon. It even has a dormitory for the students, a dining hall, a park, and luxurious stables. Each student has a specific equine subject to learn. Since he became director of this center, Epona doesn't go to her father's house much anymore and stays more with her aunt; she only goes back to see her father at Easter and Christmas.

Her Mother – Eloise Hartley-Magenta

Epona's mother's name was Eloise. Eloise was 36 years old. Eloise was the complete opposite of Epona's father, a strict mother who never joked with her daughter. She paid no attention to her daughter; she had no business bothering her with her sorrows and childish problems. With her, Epona had no right to cry or disobey, and even less to do the naughty things any child might do. No. Epona didn't have that right. With her, there was no point in asking her for girlish advice, asking her to bake cakes, or making other little girl requests. Epona's mother was a well-known rider in the equestrian world of her generation. Since the age of four, Eloise had ridden horses and ponies. She was the best in the world of equestrian competitions, whether in dressage, show jumping or eventing. At every competition she entered, she came first in every equestrian category. The world held no secrets for her, and she was proud of it. With every step Éloïse took on horseback, she took everyone's breath away. She had such an aura, such elegance, such natural beauty when you fell under her spell. Then one day, when Epona was only 5 years old, her mother competed in an equestrian event with a magnificent Comtois mare named Théa. While she was completing the fatal mountain trail test (an equestrian event in the mountains where the rider and their horse must overcome natural obstacles), Théa reared, and they both fell off the mountain. The mare survived, but Éloïse never left the hospital. Epona, being so young, hadn't realized until she was 10 that her mother wouldn't be coming home. It wasn't until she understood what had happened that she truly grasped it. Since then, she has treasured her mother's locket; it's her most precious possession.

Aunt – Rita Daumas

Rita is Epona's maternal aunt; she is 22 years old. Epona and Rita don't consider themselves an aunt and a goddaughter at all, but rather two sisters at heart. They love each other deeply and talk like real sisters. They are extremely close, and both Epona and Rita know they can confide in each other completely. They give each other fashion advice, have pajama parties every night during the holidays, go shopping, cook together, and do everything together. During the school year, Rita is studying to become a teacher, which would suit her very well. They are truly very close.

House and Magic

Image

Epona belongs to Hufflepuff, a house that suits her perfectly. She's incredibly kind, fair, sincere, and immensely loyal to her friends. She's very proud to belong to this humble house, even though she'd expected to be in the same house as her father. She thanks the Head Hatter for placing her there. One thing is certain: she's proud to represent this house, which has become so dear to her. One day, when she was only 3 years old, Epona was in a huge rage. She had always been very vain, even at 3 years old, and she loved to keep her jewelry in a pretty jewelry box. This jewelry box was pale pink, with flowers, and there was a drawing on top of a pretty horse held by a dancer. Then, one fine morning, her mother was in equine training, only her father was there. She started screaming at the top of her lungs, "The jewelry box!" The house began to shake, the windows too, everything. Her father arrived and tried to calm Epona, but it was impossible; her anger had taken over. She went into the living room, stood in front of one of her mother's vases, a vase she had bought in India. She didn't care for it much anymore, and her father was damaging the vase. Then the vase shook more and more and flew into the air, then BOOM! The vase exploded in the house!!! Epona didn't understand at all what had happened, but her father was completely certain: Epona was a witch. He said, laughing, "Well, we'll redecorate it with vase confetti now!" Epona started to cry, but her father, still laughing, took her in his arms.

History
Epona lived between two different worlds. Before her mother's tragic accident, she lived in a small bungalow between fields, stables, and a stream. On weekends, she loved to frolic and roll in the green grass of her neighborhood, and in winter, she spent her afternoons dancing, having sleepovers at her friends' houses, and sometimes taking care of the horses with her father when her mother was competing.
From the time of her mother's fall, everything changed. She decided to set up a stud farm and no longer had time to take care of Epona. So, she decided to send her to live with her aunt, Rita. At the age of 17, Epona hardly ever saw her father except in August and at Easter. This saddened her a little, but Rita knew exactly how to take care of her and did it wonderfully.
Rita took her everywhere; during the July holidays, she went to Paris. Epona loved seeing the Eiffel Tower, its other famous monuments, and eating chocolatines (or pain au chocolat 😉). Epona attended a small school and was top of her class; she excelled in all subjects, which greatly impressed her teachers!
Rita gave her this quote that she found very useful: "Make your life a dream, and a dream a reality." Epona did exactly this when she entered the castle; she dreamed of becoming a witch. Epona had a very, very great friend, Allia. Allia was an idol to Epona, always there to listen when she was feeling down, always offering good advice, always kind, and always ready to fight for Epona. Allia will be greatly missed at the castle, like her aunt.

Her favorite subjects:

Astronomy: because the stars sometimes seem to speak to her louder than people.

History of Magic: She is fascinated by tales of ancient wizards, battles, and forgotten creatures.

Herbology: She enjoys identifying plants, learning how to use them in potions, and discovering their secrets.

Appearance

Epona is 1.59 meters tall, neither too tall nor too short, which delights her greatly, given that she has always been the tallest in her class. She is finally relieved to have found a normal height. Epona is a slim and slender young girl, and also quite athletic, as she participates in many sports (dance, swimming, and especially horseback riding). With her delicate build, she has the air of a dancer. Epona always stands very straight, which makes her appear slightly taller. Her pretty face, shaped like an oval square, is a beautiful light beige, almost red in summer, and features a large beauty mark on the nape of her neck, hidden by her long hair. Her lovely almond-shaped eyes, amber-orange in color, are disguised by colored contact lenses because Epona had a serious vision problem when she was 6 years old. Her pretty, slightly rounded eyebrows form a lovely arch above her fairy-like eyes! Her nose is quite delicate. On her pretty, full lips, a lovely pale pink, she loves to apply nude lip gloss in various scents. Her deep yet gentle gaze gives Epona a captivating and mysterious air. Her beautiful long, wavy hair is often tied back with a sparkly black ribbon. Epona loves to complete her outfit with a new manicure that matches her look. Epona has a rather chic, simple, and elegant style. Her favorite outfit is an off-white blouse with lace sleeves, paired with a long, open black jacket. Her long plaid skirt adds a touch of mystery, while her sandals lend a vintage feel. She wears her mother's locket every day, along with a variety of earrings that complement her outfit. Epona walks with confidence and femininity.
