Hogsmeade dreams
Audrey wasn't a super mischievous type, but when it came to having access to everything, she was an enthusiast. She eyed the fake permission slip sitting on the shelf. Her mother had told her how fun Hogsmeade was... but she had to be a third year to go. But not for long! With this piece of parchment, she might be able to go early. Six galleons, not bad. She reached into her pockets and pulled out...
Three. Halfway there. She would get there eventually, it just required a bit of work. She sighed, thinking of all of the things she wanted to buy. She wanted a pet, a new dress, a permission slip, and all sorts of candies. She knew that she would blow away several galleons on chocolate frogs when she could get to hogsmeade.
Putting the coins back into her pocket, she made a determined face. She'd get there eventually. She looked forward to school starting next week, and had every intention of scoring straight Os. For now, she would save up and get the supplies she wanted so she could focus on school when it rolled around. Saving wasn't too hard, she'd just have to avoid candy stores.
