Week One Wonders Solo Reopened Finished

Dear Mum and Dad,

I hope you’re both doing well! I wanted to write and tell you the exciting news—I've been sorted into Gryffindor! The Sorting Hat said I had a brave heart, and before I knew it, the whole table was cheering for me. The common room is amazing, and the view of the grounds from our tower is breathtaking.

My first week at Hogwarts has been going just fine. Everything still feels magical, and I’m adjusting to life here quicker than I expected. The classes are fascinating—especially Potions, Astronomy and Defense Against the Dark Arts. We even got to make a feather float! I was nervous at first, but the professors are kind and really know how to make learning fun.

I’ve already made lots of new friends, both in Gryffindor and other houses. We study together in the library and hang out near the Great Lake when we have free time. Everyone’s so different, but we all share the same sense of wonder being here. It's nice meeting new people and getting to know each other!

Best of all, my academic average is “Outstanding”—which is actually the highest grade you can get at Hogwarts! I’m really proud and will keep working hard.
