A need of cuteness pet

Dove was tired. It was late in the afternoon, well it was almost 6pm, she was starting to be hungry, but still, she felt like she was missing something. She took another look at her 2nd year supply list, while checking what was inside her bag. No, everything was bought, and she could see her parents starting to get impatient. They must be starving too, only wanting to rest in the Leaky cauldron. But while they were on their way to the inn, the young girl suddently exclaimed. "Mom, Dad, I think I'm missing a pet.". Both her parents looked at her, surprised by such a demand, but also annoyed. "You could have told us earlier, we're tired now." her mom said. Well, she wasn't wrong, she should have said it at least thirty minutes earlier, but she didn't know then.

"But I didn't know, but please. You can gimme the money and I'll go alone." She tried to make a puppy face. She had seen many people at Hogwarts owning a pet, and she realised she was afraid to feel lonely, some times at night, and that a pet, a cat would be the perfect friend to help her go through this. "Okay, I'll give you twenty galleons. Try not loosing yourself, we'll be in our room."

While her mom was giving her the money, she couldn't hide her joy. "Thanks ! I'll try to be fast." And, as she said that, she started running through the crowd of people, emptier than a few hours ago, apologized when she hurt a poor old man in her run, and let her legs driving her in front of the Magical Menagerie. Once it was done, she hesitated before entering. No one was inside, she was scared it was closed. But she noticed a light inside, it could only mean it was still open, right ?

Therefore, she walked in there, a warm smell of a mix of different animals just came into her nose. It wasn't unpleasant, but se prefered the fresh air of outside. Anyway, she already knew what she wanted to adopt : a cat. A cute feline creature was the perfect friend for her. She said hello while going into she shop, and walk toward the cats to chose which one she'd prefer, before she heard an old woman's voice behind her. Hello there, what are you looking for ?"

Dove looked at the kind-looking grandma, blushing a bit because she hadn't expected any interaction before asking if she could buy a cat. "Well hum, I don't know yet. I would like a cat, a friendly and player one, so I cannot feel lonely in my bed."
The old mam wore some sympathic face, before going in front of her and guide her. "Come, I might have an idea for you." She followed her, less intimated than before, appeased by the kindness of the woman.

When they stopped, she looked around her and saw a black cat. She met its orange-yellow eyes, and suddently felt like she was melting. Oh. My. Gosh. He is so cute ! "We have here a Bewitched Midnight Stalker, a very kind and playful cat, just like you wanted." She was still wearing this smiling face. "He is so cute ! Can I hold him ?" Dove stopped looking at the black cat to see if the grandma would agree, but she hadn't expect her to laugh. "Of course you can ! But be careful, it's a she."

Cute cat was a girl ? It was even better. When the old lady took the cat to put it into the Ravenclaw's arms, she could feel it, no she, was so light, and also purring. Did it mean she loved being in her arms ? "I think she already likes you. She's still a baby, only one year old. How would you like to name her ?"

Dove's heart melt when she learned the tiny cat was actually a kitty. "Kasis. It means "little cat" in my grandparent's language." Yes, Kasis suited her too well. "It is a beautiful name. I let you hug her as long as you want before buying her. She costs 18 galleons." In a normal time, she would have cringed a bit, knowing it was costing this much. But she didn't care, she felt like she was starting to create some bond with Kasis, and couldn't wait for her to meet her family.
