Amaryllis walked through diagon alley. The cobblestone street clicking against her shoes. The warm summer breeze lightly blew her hair and she approached Flourish and Blotts. She walked through the door, the bell dinging as she entered. She looked around the vast bookstore in awe. She had never seen so many books all in one place, not even the library at home had that many. And even though she'd been here thousands of times it had the same effect every time. She walked over to one of the bookshelves full of her favorite fiction books. She was scanning them with interest, pulling a few out to read the cover and the summary on the back. The clerc walked over to her. He was a kind looking man appearing to be around 40 years old. "Can I help you find anything? Need any books for classes." She smiled politely. "No thank you. I'm just browsing for now but I'll let you know if I need any help." The clerc nodded. "Right then. I'll be at the counter." He turned and walked off towards the counter. She went back to looking at the books. After looking at a couple books in the fiction section she decided to look for non fiction books instead and came across one that piqued her interests. Animal Ghost of Britain the title was certainly interesting but you can't judge a book by it's cover. She made her way back to the counter and placed the book in front of the clerc. "This be all for you today?" She nodded. "Alright that'll be 14 sickles please." She fishes the sickles out of her purse and handed them to the clerc. "Thanks for purchasing. Her you are madame." She happily took the book from his hands. "Have a lovely day sir." She waved as she walked out the door and skipped down the road, excited to start reading her new book.
