It was the morning of September 6, and Elizabeth sat down in the Great Hall for breakfast. It seemed rather boring and quiet, so she was determined to make it become interesting. Slowly chewing her food, she had a brilliant idea.
Picking up a handful of scrambled eggs, she hurled it in the direction of the Gryffindor table. She grinned as it landed with a splat on the back of someone’s head, getting their hair all gross. A few bits of food had scattered to land on the floor and a few others as well. With a suppressed laugh, she turned back to the table, picking up a piece of bread.
Turning back around, she threw the piece of bread at the Hufflepuff table. She grimaced when it landed on the floor, and she leaned over to pick it up. With a final aim, she threw it once again towards the Hufflepuff table. Once again, it landed on the floor where she left it as she turned back to the table.
She’d tried to start something fun in this otherwise boring day. At least one of the Gryffindors had egg bits stuck in their hair now, thanks to her. And besides, she thought it made them very pretty indeed. If anyone thought otherwise, they could get back at her with their food. Or at least try.
Note: To make this more fun, I’ll be moderating this. As such, every Wednesday I will try and get a mod post out. That being said, fire away.
And please add stats somewhere in your post. It helps when I’m doing the mod posts.

Food Fight
Clark stared at the food in front of him. His dad won't care, surely. He looked over at the Professor section and with an evil smirk growing on his face, he heard the splatter of gooey substance behind him, like slime falling from the sky. It caught his attention, and he looked back at the slimy scrambled eggs he had on his plate and grabbed a handful, squeezing it so tight the egg chunks were bleeding through the spaces between the fingers.
It was.. not quite as fun to touch, but it would hopefully be fun to throw. He turned towards Elizabeth, and gave her the biggest, and cruelest smile he could give her. If he could get this to land, he could maybe grab the apple or orange off his plate and peg her with it, maybe hit her square in the eye. This could maybe send her to the Hospital Wing and she would stop trying to take Clark's very own, unique title of Chaos Gremlin. That was his! It was not for that grubby, slimy little girl that sat over there at the Ravenclaw table.
No, it was all for the big old goblin sitting here at the Hufflepuff Table. He had to represent Hufflepuff, but never in a good way.
"Little girls don't compete with big men like me." Clark snarled in Gobbledygook, releasing his grip on the eggs as he threw it her direction.Goblin Y1 [Gobbledygook | 5 sickles] | Foulplay | Part Goblin 2 [Wandless] | Obnoxiously Strong

There Malcolm was, trying his best to have a nice bit of breakfast, when chaos erupted in the great hall. Typically, he wasn’t particularly fond of wanton acts of mayhem, instead being the type to prefer things by the book if possible, only straying from that if the rules were counter to him doing what was right. And the raucous disorder of a food fight definitely wasn’t his jam. But, when a pancake - soggy with butter and maple syrup - appeared out of nowhere and collided with the back of his head with a moist PLOP, that was the straw that broke the camel’s back. Incensed, and overwhelmed by being so, so, so far removed from anything even remotely familiar, of the stress of trying to live up to his family’s legacy, of trying to be a good student and good person and good friend… it was too much as it was. And now someone had decided he needed a particularly sticky edible hat.
The knife and fork he’d been holding clattered to the table as he reached up, peeling the golden circle from its perch atop his sandy blond head, then throwing it onto the table in front of him. Slowly, with his jaw set in irritation, he lifted his chin from where he’d been trying to enjoy his meal. His blue eyes narrowed as he scanned the crowd, trying to determine who the guilty party had been, but to little avail. Still, he had a pretty good idea of the general direction it had come from, so the boy grabbed up a bowl of oatmeal nearby, and lobbed the hot, sticky mass, bowl included, vaguely in the direction the pancake had come from. Hopefully he’d luck out and actually hit the person responsible. But at this point, he didn’t particularly care one way or another.

Frederick Buckley was having a perfectly ordinary morning. The Great Hall buzzed gently with the low murmur of conversation and the occasional clink of cutlery against plates. Freddy, still rubbing sleep from his eyes, had been quietly enjoying his toast with a generous layer of blackberry jam, wondering if he would have time to go to the owlery to send a letter to his parents.
Then... SPLAT. Freddy didn’t see it coming, but he definitely heard it. The sound was unmistakable: someone started a food fight and maneged to headshot a fellow Gryffindor. A collective gasp rose from down the table. Freddy stood up so quickly that his bench screeched across the stone floor. He spun around, scanning the hall with narrowed blue eyes. "Who had thrown that?" He muttered, while he was overcome by the desire to help his colleague fight back.
Just a few tables over, his gaze landed on a Hufflepuff boy grinning, carefree, tossing bits of food through the air like confetti. Freddy narrowed his eyes. Had to be him. Who else would be chucking food around like a madman? His fingers clenched around his fork, then relaxed. No, he had a better idea. Without a word, he reached for the nearest, largest slice of pumpkin pie, perfectly soft in the middle with a golden crust, and hurled it across the hall with all the force his arm could muster, shouting "Don't mess with the lions!" and then laughing at what he had just done.

It was certainly turning out to be a lively morning. Hardly after the eggs had settled in the Gryffindor’s hair, another batch of eggs flew through the air. That was a pity, not thinking of something else to throw.
@Clark Baird had thrown with the intent to make his mark, and indeed he did. The infamous Hufflepuff known for causing trouble had splattered egg all over Elizabeth Stonewall’s hair. That was enough to earn him a fierce glare as she whipped her head around.
The next was another Hufflepuff as @Malcolm McGregor threw a bowl filled with oatmeal through the air. It splattered all over first-year Gryffindor @Frederick Buckley’s hair and the bowl clattered loudly to the floor. His instinct to dodge hadn’t helped him avoid the sweet sticky oatmeal mess.
Quick to get back at the Hufflepuff, Frederick threw a carefully selected piece of pumpkin pie and threw it at him. The sound of pie squelching in Malcolm’s hair might seem satisfying to some, but that didn’t seem to be the goal.
It seemed as if the goal was to create as much chaos as possible. With the fact that Clark was in their midst, it didn’t seem like that would be particularly hard. Perhaps someone would take this opportunity and try their hand at taking the title of Chaos Gremlin from Clark.

Is it okay that i join?
Emiline was peacefully reading her book when she saw someone closish pick up some scrambled eggs and throw it! The girl raised her brows, Did that guy just throw a handful of scrambled egg? She thought wildly. She sighed and went back to reading her book, whatever those people wanted to do i guess. Her head lifted again when a whole bowl of oatmeal soared over her head. What an earth is going on? OH... food fight and I'm in the cross fire... dammit. The 3rd year sighed, wondering why she had to be here when all chaos breaks loose. However, she did ponder what it'll be like to be part of a food fight. So she glanced at the guy she saw threw the egg and grabbed her cold grilled tomato and lobbed it towards the Gryffindor table as they were yelling so loudly. She smirked as it made a satisfying wet squelch on contact. Oh this is going to be so much fun. Emiline quickly put her book in her bag and turned in seat so she was grinning towards the Gryffindor table. Her heart was racing and no doubt she'd probably get a detention for this....But it would be so worth it!

It was a very average day at Hogwarts until Elizabeth Stonewall, one of Andy's best friends started shoving scrambled eggs all over the great hall. "A food fight" was the first thought that came to Andy's head. He watched movies where food fights where included in the muggle world a lot of times. Since he went to a very strict and private school back at home in Perth, there was almost no messing around. While dodging a cucumber that flew right above his head, he went over to Elizabeth. Elizabeth, long time no see! Did you start this?! He yelled so She would hear what he said through all of the chaos. Even though throwing food is gross, why not have a little fun after a long day of classes? He took a over ripe avocado and through it right at a third year, Hufflepuff girl by the name of Emiline Hunter. This is going to be so fun! Andy thought, and really, it will when you got a Ravenclaw prankster like Elizabeth on your side... Or is it a free for all? And will this turn into a actual fight, or hopefully will stay a food fight for now.

Elizabeth spun around, nearly falling off the bench. She grabbed a fistful of olives and hurled them through the air towards Clark with all her might. She couldn’t be mad because she had started things in the first place. The best word to describe her was annoyed. It was mostly because Clark didn’t seem to know anything about originality.
Elizabeth avoided meeting her fellow Ravenclaw’s gaze as he approached her. ”Erm, more like it’s a boring day and that can’t be had. Besides, I’m not the prankster type anymore.” A weak smile flitted across her face before she swung back around to grab a piece of peanut-covered bread. She spread some jam over the peanut butter and squished it together. That would be the next thing she threw after she’d seen if her olives had managed to hit Clark or not.
In her mind, she was in the early stages of a battle with Clark that involved throwing food. She didn’t know if he was having similar thoughts, but maybe if the olives hit, he would. Secretly, Elizabeth hoped that others would be drawn into the forming ongoing chaos. It looked like it was already gathering some attention, even if there weren’t many directly involved yet.

Action: Throwing a glass plate at @Malcolm McGregorClark screamed, bloody murder hollering. Why was there a food fight slowly breaking out! God! Clark needed to win the top rank immediately, there were no if, ands or buts. There were no exceptions, and if he couldn't have that victorious glory of a win, then he was going to cheat his way and be brutal. He picked up the glass plate that held his scrambled eggs and turned to face Malcolm. He was beginning to position his arm and grip on the plate as if he were to throw a frisbee, and that's exactly what his aim was.
He was going to try and slam the plate into Malcolm's face, further escalating the food fight to further assault. Yes, if it hit the boy would probably be in pain.
But Clark didn't care. No. He did not give a rat's ass about anyone else except himself. He shit himself at the wedding of one Winnie Athanatos and had no care in his system. No. If anything, this boy was going to learn that Clark ruled the school, despite his year. His dad worked here so obviously Clark was immune.
Right?
No matter. Clark twisted and threw the glass plate like a frisbee, preparing himself for the impact and potential blood and bruising. He looked at the boy with a malicious grin on his face. "Come try me big boy."

After the success of the first round, it was the complete opposite for the second round. An utter failure for launching food. Perhaps that would only make them more determined.
@Emiline Hunter launched a grilled tomato towards @Frederick Buckley who effortlessly dodged. The grilled tomato landed with a squish on the floor. It was still…useable…if you didn’t mind getting tomato juice all over your hands.
@Andy Loggins took the opportunity to throw an overripe avocado towards Emiline, but perhaps he was just slightly distracted as the Hufflepuff dodged with ease. The avocado landed with a splatter all over the floor. There were some broken off pieces of the avocado that, if one were willing, could be used to throw at someone nearby.
Elizabeth Stonewall was quick to throw a cluster of olives at @Clark Baird but perhaps she was too quick to pinpoint where she was aiming. The olives flew past the Hufflepuff as he dodged, and with the force they’d been thrown with, landed with a splatter on the table over.
Clark was seemingly unfazed by the olives as he picked up the plate that his eggs had previously been on. He threw it as if it were nothing more than a frisbee towards @Malcolm McGregor. A spectacular dodge and the plate smashed to the floor, sending shards skidding in every direction on the floor.
