Getting New Threads  Solo   Finished
Things were going smoothly for Ashrael. She had gotten all her books and ingredients that she needed. The only thing left was her robes and wand. She had decided to head to Madam Malkins first before heading to Olivanders. Her chaperone Minny was off doing who knows what. She was glad that she gave her this time to be alone and get her own things. She felt over protected because of her father’s insistence to have someone there with her all the time. Of course he could never be here for her since her mother died. He was never the same after that. Gone was the loving and doting father. Now all that was left was just a workaholic who never had time for her.

She took a deep breath and shook her head trying to get the thoughts about her father out of her mind. “Time to head to Madam Malkins” she said to herself. Once Ashrael got there she saw that a girl was being attended to. She sat in a chair and waited for her turn. Her mind went aimlessly elsewhere as the young girl finished and now it was Ash’s turn. The girl passed her by giving her a weird and uncomfortable stare. Ash was puzzled then wondered. ‘Did I smell’ she thought to herself and sniffed her right shoulder to see if she was. Of course she wasn’t but she didn’t understand why the girl looked at her so strangely. She didn’t even know the girl.

The owner of the shop looked at her and said “Please come over here dear and step on this platform. “ Ashrael did what she was told. The lady measured her up in various areas. She didn’t like being poked and prodded with needles. She was getting impatient. After some time passed and the stitching was finally done the shop owner told Ashrael she could go once she had paid for her robes and uniform. Glad that was over with Ashrael paid the lady and hurried out of the shop. Not a people person Ashrael walked with her head down trying to get through the crowded Diagon Alley. All that was next was her wand. Then she could finally go back home where there were no crowds.
