A stylish encounter
Her outfit

In September
The school week had finally ended. Elizabeth wanted to take advantage of her weekend to relax a little, but first she had to get all her homework done, because first comes effort, then comfort. When Elizabeth had finished all her homework, the young girl put her things away and before heading down to the park, she changed her outfit. She certainly liked the Hogwarts uniform, but she also liked showing off her style. The young girl took three things out of her closet: first, she took out a crop top, the bodice of which was made of white lace, then there was white fabric, and finally, the lower part of the belly was made of lace, the same as the bust; she also took out a pale pink skirt, the pale pink fabric forming the base of the skirt, then there were three layers of petticoat, also pale pink; and finally, she took out small white shoes with thin laces. She put on her outfit and went out into the park. The calm of the vegetation soothed him, and after a tiring week of classes, there was nothing better than a long walk in the park. Elizabeth walked quietly, the silence was almost complete, only the song of the birds disturbed him.

A stylish encounter
@Elizabeth Hamilton
Even by the end of the first week of school, Mercy found himself settling into a routine. The second classes were done for the day, he would do his best imitation of Sha’carri Richardson and book it back to his dorm, sprinting as quickly as the crowds of students would allow just to get out of these stupid robes. It was perhaps the thing he hated most about being at Hogwarts, being in such an unflattering uniform. No real opportunity for personalization aside from jewelry, billowy and easy to get caught on chair backs and doorknobs, they were simply a drag. A bore. Something he’d imagine you’d wear to the funeral of someone you really didn’t like. He really did despise school uniforms in general, but at least the Blackbourne Academy’s uniforms were nice. These made him feel like some poor imitation of the actual ghosts wandering the corridors.
Today, Mercy had surveyed the racks of clothes in his dorm with a discerning eye for a good twenty minutes before finally settling on his ensemble for the rest of the evening. The weather was still cooperating for the time being up in temperamental Scotland, so he grabbed his favorite pair of gray baggy jean shorts, clipped on his silver chain to the belt loops, then eyed the rack of appropriately-streetwear-adjacent shirts that was calling his name. A black tank top was a good place to start, and if he layered that vintage Harley-Davidson overshirt he’d discovered last year… yes, this was good. This would do. Simple, straight-forward, but well-curated. He slid on a few simple silver rings, his silver watch, and a nondescript silver chain, and mussed his hair so it lay just so. He stopped to admire himself in the mirror, checking that the silhouette of the outfit was sensible enough to be worn in public (waist cinched, overshirt baggy enough to provide some sort of unique shape), before slipping on his black and orange high-top Jordans, the orange of the sneaker matching the orange embroidery of his shirt perfectly.
God, he loved when a plan came together.
Paired with his black leather messenger bag (which was, truthfully, largely empty aside from a few rolls of parchment and a book), Mercy slid his wand into his pocket and headed outside. He had no idea where he was really going, he just wanted to breathe some fresh air before he settled inside the castle for the evening to finish up a few assignments. He almost had a bounce in his step as he exited the castle, inhaling the sweet scent of nature dramatically as he scanned his surroundings and tried to figure out just what he was doing outside. His gaze landed on a blonde girl, with a pastel outfit that stood out starkly from the luscious greens of her surroundings. A pink A-line skirt, hitting just above her knees, complimented the flush of her skin, and the matching white lacy top and shoes kept the color palette cohesive.
Ahoy! Another fashionista, like himself. A wide grin adorning his face, Mercy tried to make his approach as casual and nonthreatening as possible, taking his hands out of his pocket and waving to the girl. “Hi!” he said excitedly as he drew closer, his smile growing brighter as he noticed the meticulous detail in the lace of her top. This girl certainly had exquisite taste and an eye for detail, like him. “Sorry, I just wanted to say that I love your outfit. That lace in your top, with the lace in your skirt… absolutely fabulous. I love when the details in an outfit align so well. Oh! I’m Mercy King, first year Slytherin,” he added hastily, lest he forget his manners. The ending bit had been stuck on as he realized just how large this school was, and it would be helpful to add some identifying markers to his introduction. After all, it seemed many other people in the school tended to introduce themselves in a similar fashion. He stuck his hand out for a handshake, clearly brimming with excitement at this new connection to be forged.
A stylish encounter
Elizabeth was walking quietly in the park when a boy approached her. He greeted her and then complimented her on her outfit, the color scheme, and the fabrics. He told her he really liked her outfit. Elizabeth smiled; she was used to this kind of comment, but this was the first time it had happened to her at Hogwarts. The young boy extended his hand to her as if to begin a new friendship. He introduced himself; his name was Mercy King; he was a first-year Slytherin. Elizabeth wasn't used to shaking people's hands, but since the young boy smiled kindly at her and seemed friendly, she gently shook his hand. She noticed that there were several rings on the young boy's hand, all in different styles. This choice of jewelry made Elizabeth smile; they were her favorite rings. So, she introduced herself.
"Hello, my name is Elizabeth Hamilton. I'm also a first year, but I'm in Ravenclaw, But my older brothers are in Slytherin . I really like your street-style outfit. I really like it; I think it's very pretty."
That's when the young girl noticed the Air Jordans Mercy was wearing. Orange and black, they matched perfectly with the stitching on her overshirt.
