Family again

It was so nice to finally see my parents again. I knew that the coming year I'd be staying at Hogwarts for Christmas, so I was determined to cherish every moment of family time over the summer, and catch up with some of my muggle friends.

Once I'd got off the Hogwarts Express, I'd walked down the station, until I'd seen my mum and dad, waving at me. Then, we'd got into a taxi, and went to a hotel in London to stay for a few nights, before going back home.

During those few days, me and my family made sure to explore London, and have a fun time, including going to the theatre, and meeting with my aunt who lived just outside the city.

Although I didn't have many friends at Hogwarts yet, due to being quiet and shy, I made sure to owl my few friends, and keep up to date with them, and I also made sure to study the spells and potions that I would be learning in my 2nd year, so that I would be ahead of the others in my class (my Ravenclaw side coming out in full!)

I was extremely happy to be back with my family again, and I was excited to see what would happen during the summer, and my next year at Hogwarts!
