xxxJarden was not one who slept well in new places. He figured most individuals were like that, but he himself had never had to. He was always... home. Then again, he used the word home in a broad manner. Not just referring to his place of residence, but the whole island. Weird, to some people, but completely normal to himself.

xxxThat was how he currently found himself laying wide awake in the tent her shared with quite a few other people. Which could have been a problem for other tents with more troublemaker types, but everyone in his tent seemed pretty chill. Not that he knew them all that well. Yet.

xxxHe was determined to do so... eventually. Getting to know people took time, especially if they were rather reserved and were hiding a hypothetical troublesome side. And then again, he would only be seeing these people for summer camp, if they came every time, that was.

xxxThere were so many probabilities to how it might pan out. Which was just fine with Jarden, it gave him something to think about when his body was so restless and could not find the long searched for, abstract concept called sleep.

xxxStaring into darkness quickly got boring, as expected. What do you even do when you can't fall asleep? I heard someone say once that people count sheep, but I live no where near sheep. They most likely do not mean it literally though.

xxxWith sleep evading him he decided it was overrated. He could either be bored to his wits end or actually do something exciting. There was not many things one could do in the dead of night, but it was better than nothing.

Hm. What to do, what to do... there's literally nothing. I wonder if anyone else is up, like I am. The absence of movement from some of the beds could indicate either sleep or a restless, sleep deprived, just like himself.

xxxInstead of straight up asking if anyone was up {which would have been quite rude if someone was awoken by that} he just sat up hoping someone else was awake or a little more outgoing than he was.
