The Transfiguration classroom on the Sixth Floor of the Hogwarts Castle is a large room. Upon entering through laminated mahogany doors adorned in silk, one would find him or herself presented in a spacious classroom with tall, arched windows lining the walls and silk drapery filtering the light piercing the frosted and clear glass panels. Instead of arrays, three staggered rows of wide polished desks are arranged in a semicircular shape around the center of the room. Every desk faces toward the back of the room, where a large L-shaped table, the professor's desk, mirrors the students. Beside it is an open arch leading to the professor's office, partially obscured by a curtain of Jade and glass beads hanging from the top. No blackboard or chalk is present, but the wall that students face shift in color to form words and diagrams when needed to the whim of the professor's wand.

The main doors are always wide open, day and night, but a sort of shield charm has been placed across the entrance that allows only the professor of Transfiguration or other staff to walk through after curfew or when the professor herself is absent. There is a number assigned to each desk for identification purposes, and the seating chart, though fixed, can be flexible through the professor. A large pedestal in the center of the semicircle serves for demonstrative purposes, and a few shelves as well as the entrance to a large storage closet spot the walls.

Several doors and shelves and even the professor's desk are labeled in both English and in Braille. The professor's name, Cypresse Yu-Ling Lian, is engraved in the thick wood of the desk, and trinkets - medals, extra ornate quills and inkwells, a few sculpted figures and countless other toys - are arranged neatly across the surface, betraying the absolute mess in the office beyond. A few scarves, scraps of fabric from all over the world from her sister's extensive shopping and gifting, have been hung meticulously from the edge of the desk, a mere modicum of the colossal collection that the professor possessed. For practicality, a simple black quill and a wooden inkwell molded right into the wood of the table stand on the right.

A network of tunneling runs through the ceiling and walls, connected to each lantern embedded in the stone and finally leading towards the outside. A blast of fire into the opening in Cypresse's Office lights every lantern there, while firing straight into the lantern can light individual ones, exhaust emptying through the last tunnel

Homework and date is always written on the deep-colored yet ever-shifting board, as is the seating charts for various classes and agenda. This is your Transfiguration classroom.

A section of the board at the top is dedicated to subject-wide updates and announcements, of which students are encouraged to view frequently.
