so ik you can apply for an ability every year as a human and the faq on the thread describing all the abilities says you cant save up and get a bunch of 5th year prerequisite abilities all in 5th year. but ive seen some of the ability applications and it looks like some of the people have been requesting abilities for years they missed (like a 4th year requesting an ability from wnd year and 4th year cause they forgot to in 2nd year)
i didnt request an ability my 1st year cause i didnt know how but i was wondering if it was possible to request one for both 1st and 2nd year? like an easy one without any prerequisites

That is fine! As long as you meet the requirements for an ability (or have the slot) you can claim an ability later down the line. We have no time restraint on ability claims. If you missed your first year ability but still want to claim it, you can while still taking your second year ability too.

The FAQ means that you can’t claim a fifth year and up ability as an ability for let’s say your first or second year slot since that ability is a fifth year or higher prerequisite.
