A Not So Collaborative Pair Project PV Amelia

Dove's second favorite subject : herbology. With potions, it was the one she took more satisfaction doing the homeworks. (The other subjects too, of course, but... yeah, a bit less). Everything about herbology was perfect : the subject in itself was so fascinating, discovering magical plants and their particularities, the fact that plants can be useful to heal people, since Dove would like to be a doctor in her future, and finally, all the books on the subject, all as interesting as the others, which she loved to read, doing her herbology's assigment or not. However, something was disturbing her little heaven, or more precisely someone. A hufflepuff girl, from her year, going to the same herbology class as her : Amelia Lerelle. She had heard of her during her first year, and seen her in the hallways, but had never been in her class. What was the problem with her ? She was good, no, not good, excellent in this subject. She must be in others too, but it wasn't the concern here. Dove was a modest girl, of course, and quite shy above all, but when it came to grades, she wanted to be the best. She could spend hours in the library only to study and having the best grades possible. Maybe Amelia was the same, maybe she wanted to be the best too, was working hard, or maybe she wasn't at all. Dove didn't know, she had never talked to her. She didn't particularly want to, she liked to work on her own, it was like her confort place. But anyway, even if she loved herbology with all her heart, the Ravenclaw girl was a bit reluctant during her way to class, and even more when she just saw her, in the greenhouse. She ignored her, as usual, but one problem : too many people were already here. Shoot, am I this late ? she talked to herself I should have hurry during breakfast. So here she was, having for only place left, the one next to Amelia. She tried to be eased with it, not showing her disappointment, but how hard was it when she heard they were going to do pair projects, with their class neighboors. Are you kidding me ? Are hope we don't have to manipulate together.
Poor Dove, if only she knew she was going to study the differences between muggle and magical plants, starting with observing them in details with... Amelia.
