Sophie walked up with Louise and Freda by the lake, as Louise tried to practise her wand work for Charms, leading to a few fires Sophie had to swiftly put out. Then she spotted a figure. Him. She gritted her teeth. Just a few days ago they had started working together, and she had discovered that the stories were true- most Slytherins especially this one, were absolute bloody gits. She still hadn’t gotten that 50 galleon worth scarf back- he had probably presented it to one of his adoring girl-fans or boy ones as she had recently found out. That boy wouldn’t know real interest if it came up and slapped him square in the face. Louise giggled when she saw him- she would giggle if she saw a male house elf- and Freda brought out her mirror, sweeping her hair in front of her face.

Sophie knew that both scenarios were impossible- Louise would be too bubbly and innocent for the gargoyle that was Sinclair, and Freda would be too kind at first and then he would utterly shatter her heart, the git. She rustled in her bag and brought out her six rolls of parchment, impeccably written up, covering anything there was to know about werewolves.
“Gimme a sec- I need to hand in some homework with Sinclair.” she had taken to calling him Sinclair- Aiden was too human- she had once known a rosy cheeked toddler called Aiden- the name was too misleading for this one. She walked over to him, and dropped the parchment at his feet.
“Give it to the Professor after you've fact checked it. I took the liberty of writing, editing and presenting it, so duly credit me.” she said, looking bored, and suddenly had a brain wave- she had studied the records and found his mother among them.

“I’m sorry about your mum.” Even if he grew agitated towards the fact she had found out, their relationship couldn’t get worse. She threw a package at his feet- his mother's old Ministry desk objects she supposed his father had been too devastated to collect, courtesy of her fathers connections. She had only seen a giggling baby boy for a brief moment before wrapping it the day prior, reminding herself that it was not hers to snoop.
She started to walk away to collect her homework from a gormless Ravenclaw that she had managed to get to do her herbology homework- not that she needed help but she hated herbology.
