Tori followed her mother sadly. She never wanted to do this. She had been very used to her pet rat Vick for two years, but he had been sick for a while and had recently run away from home. She couldn't recover after this behavior of her pet rat, whom she had been with for two years.

She had been unconscious for some time. She had not left her room, had not spoken to her family. Her hair had turned dull gray, and for a time he had seemed like a ghost. Her mother, Vera, felt that she needed to get another pet to help with the situation, so she took her back to Diagon Alley.

"Come on, honey, cheer up a little. Maybe you can find another mouse or a different friend."

She remained silent and went to the Magical Menagerie with her mother. All she wanted now was to go back to her room and lie down on the bed.

When she entered the store, she didn't want to talk to anyone so she just walked around the store and stayed away from her mother.

"I just want to relax and clear my head. I can't be cheerful or positive all the time. A friend of mine is gone, I cared about him very much and he ran away.

She spoke with anger. She didn't want to be here and finally exploded. Her hair had turned black as a result of this outburst. When she finally managed to relax, she felt like someone was watching her.

When she looked around, she saw a grey-white furry (very furry, actually) ball of fur watching her. Tori was confused when she saw this.

"Are you watching me? I'm sorry, I guess that's why I tired of you too. I'm sorry."

She approached the cage and stroked the cat's head. Stroking its furry head relaxed Victoria and after a long time, its hair returned to its normal red color. She was feeling more comfortable.

Maybe this was a sign. A sign for new beginnings. “Do you want to come home with me?” When the furry cat meowed, Tori smiled and let the cat out of its cage.

"So how about Athena? You are so sweet and so helpful. I've never had a cat, but I'll keep you company as much as I can." The cat meowed again. Tori smiled and went to her mother.
